  1. Anyone using 3n38 for an open minor load? More specific out of a glock with carver 3 port comp? I have some laying around and it's the slowest powder I have on hand
  2. Welcome from Circleville Ohio!! If you need any help setting up the 550 these forums and youtube will be your best friend.
  3. Is there another gauge that will work with that profile bullet?
  4. This is what I figured that as long as it will plunk test in the barrel I plan to run it threw I would be good.
  5. If I low the oal it will case gauge but I have to get it seated down just below 1.1 to get it there. I am trying to load long to use a slower powder 3n38 to work the comp so I need all the case I can get
  6. I did plunk test in glock barrel just didn't have it here at the house tonight to take a pic.it is not stock barrel btw forgot to mention that. It is a lone wolf 34 barrel.
  7. I am in the process of working up a new minor load for an open Glock. I figured out how long I could go and still fit in the glock mags 1.155 now that I know it will fit in the mags I try the plunk test and works great. So after setting my crimp die I load a few with now powder or primer and try to case gauge them to find out they will not case gauge??? I am using an everglade 115gr jacketed hollow point bullet with similar profile of Montana gold bullet. I throw a few of my current minor load bayou 124gr round nose loaded out to 1.160 and the gauge great. I am thinking that it is the profile of the bullet and am figuring that if it passes the plunk test I'm good to go?? I will post a couple pics

  10. Try a small piece of transparent tape on the lens of you glasses on your non dominant eye.
  11. Bladetech doh for 3gun and ghost for steel and uspsa.
  12. I looked at every hardware store here local and all I could fine is knife sharpening stones. Ordered from brownells
  13. I have not shot it yet. It Is Off To Get Cerakoted:) I have some 147gr plated round nose with 3.5gr of n320 I will try but also set up another tool head to load a 115gr hp with 3n38. When I get it back I will report back on how it goes.
  14. I have shot a 124gr bayou with 3.2g of titegroup at 1.160 for steel and 3gun for years. It is a great load for my xdm 5.25 and edge. It will not make minor:) but is soft and accurate.
  15. I just had this same issue. After doing some research here I found that carver modifies a cr speed to fit the carver mount. I already had a cr speed so very slowly with a Dremmel made the mod myself. Turned out pretty good and works great.
  16. I peaked in on this thread because I recently made the switch from titegroup to n320. Also went from 124gr bayou to 147g plated. I loaded from 3.0 to 3.5 shooting from 5" edge. 3.0 made the slide feel very lazy 3.5 was very snappy. Just shot 3.3 gr loaded at 1.155 it felt great and was very accurate from 10 yards to 25 yards. Will get them chrono soon as possible. Hope they make pf because they feel awsome!!
  17. That's what i was thinking, try the locktite let it set up for a good 24-48 hours and ginger it whirl. Thanks
