When I first started shooting skeet I bought a Browning Citori and had a set of skeetmaster tubes built for it. When I started the browning was very tight but after one season of practice and registered targets it was almost worn out. I was lucky and my house was broken into and the gun was stolen. I took the money and bought a Beretta 682 with a set of Briley tubes and it is as tight as the day I bought it 19 years ago. There is a difference.

Brass for a 9x21 is pretty expensive and you can't find it once fired so you have to buy new.

I have one of the very first PACT timer/chronos and even at 10+ years old it works great. I have heard that the new ones have had problems. I don't even use it as a timer much anymore its just to big.

I have the EGW die and a case pro for 9mm. I only use the case pro for big match brass and the EGW die works great. The EGW die is cheap insurance,the case pro not so cheap.

Chamber check your rounds if you don't have a chamber checker then take the barrel out of the gun and use it untill you get one. Also try some white box.

My 9mm is a mongoose and you can't go wrong with a gun from JL Hardy

Free brass is a big plus when shooting open. I have both 9mm and super and the 9 is not any harder to reload for and makes major with no problems. I have been thinking about converting my super to 9mm.

Well I got 4 rooms at the Microtell. The lady told me that was the last 4 rooms that have been blocked for the match. Only a 120 or so registered so far. Hpoe there are some more rooms for the rest.

I called the listed match motels and they don't know anything about the match. They told me they are all booked up. I need some info on the rates and such.. Looks like its shaping up like last year. May be I will just get a refund and forget it again this year.

I have seen two glock 22s go boom using lead bullets. I wont use them in a Glock.......

I have a few guns. That said, I keep a little 5 shot Rossi 38 special (my only revolver) on the bedside table because I know it will work when I pull the trigger. I really think my 120 lb Akita (Cosmo) wouldn't let them get to the bedroom anyway.

I use it for 9mm major and 38 super. Its a great powder and burns very clean. Powder valley is out of 4 lb kegs right now but I have 10 lbs on hand. I use HS-6 also because its cheaper but always go back to N350.

Mine does that when the underside of the shell plate gets dirty where the rim of the shell fits in the plate. I clean the crap out of there and it works fine.

If it looks like the brass is hitting the cmore mount as said before. Brazos has a great article (on Bobs website) about how to tune the ejector. Glenns gun was stovepiping and we tuned the ejector and it works great now. Only took about 5 mins to do it and it has pictures so even I could do it. Also an 8lb spring sounds a little light to me also.

When are you going to post the stages for the match?

The title says it all. I am moving to San Antoino in Oct of this year and want to know where and when the local matches are. Different clubs, membership cost, match fees and all that. It looks like I will be building in the southwest side of the city around loop 1604. Im looking forward to getting back to my home state.
