While shooting my AR the other day, i noticed that my raptor charging handle would reciprocate while firing, in some instances the gun would not lock back on the last shot. I disassembled the gas block, ensuring proper alignment, and replaced the gas rings on the bolt. Shot a 3 gun match yesterday and noticed it was still moving. Any insights to what the issue could be? Im up in Clarksville (45Min North) and I generally shoot USPSA @ NTPS, Henry County Gun Club has a small club match weekly, Music City Tactical Shooters hosts a monthly IDPA USPSA and im pretty sure they are starting up a monthly 3 Gun.

Is the barrel threaded for chokes would be a more important question, if yes, then you could overcome barrel length by choking down to meet your desired pattern. If no, then it's going to be tough to make it all happen with a 18" cylinder gun. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Aside from using a custom holster, I would imagine that any Full dust cover holster should work.

I keep my first mag at 11:30, 2nd at 10:30 and 3rd at 9:00. First mag is at about a 45, 2nd at about 60, 3rd at 90.

I thought it was a great shooting gun, nice trigger. Dont understand the mag release idea, but still a nice pistol overall.

Ive used Bladetech DOS, however i switched up to a G Code XST for 3 gun, quick retention release and excellent price point.

I had a similar decision on barrels, however when Nordic was offering 20% off and free shipping, it made the decision a little easier.

Easiest way is to "Run what ya Brung" my first 3 gun match was an Iron Sighted AR15, Stock M&P9L and a remington 870. After my 1st stage, guys were asking me if i wanted to borrow their guns just to make the pain stop.

Ive had 2 mags fall out of the gun during reloads because of an accidental extra round. The extra 1 bullet isnt worth losing the mag during the stage.

My .40 Edge doesnt run factory ammo 100%, however loaded long it has never failed.

Remington 870 Tactical has been behind my door frame for years. Every house should have one imo.

Tomato vs Tomaato debate, primary consideration would be having matching reticle to turret. MIL/MIL , MOA/MOA, just comes down to what numbers are on the screen at that point.

Lived in South FL without any ranges >100yd. PCS'd to Fort Campbell, KY which has a 100-825yd KD range for personal use and got hooked.

I personally use a 100yd zero, dial for elevation and hold over for wind. First Focal Plane scopes make that method a lot easier than a Second Focal Plane.

My 24" Barreled M2 is my go-to gun, never once has it let me down.
