  1. The loading technique with this kinda belt doesnt seem to be popular in the U.S. so besides some skilled handworker who wants to experiment i dont think you wil find the in U.S. The belt in the video is made by a Czech handworker and at the ESC2009 they were sold. Myself am using this belt or a chestplate, depending stage set-up. At least one of the two i wil take with me to next years Panam. Greetings Adrie
  2. I use 3.2 grain VV N320 behind a 115 FMJ hollow point from PRVI. Primer winchester SP magnum, OAL 27.2 mm. That makes 127 - 129 PF from my production G17 Greetings Adrie
  3. Yeah Patrick, kicked ass by a lady LOL One thing we learned (again) at the ESC2009 is that there is no absolute number one loading method. The weakhandloading from the box, the weak/stronghand loading from e.g. the chestplate or grabbing just 2 - 4 from the single rig weakhand and loading you wil see the most but it wil just only work out if the method fits you. The big fellow on the picture had the unpleasant experience to be DQ't at ESC2009 after the last shot on his last stage of the match because he pointed the barrel over the backstop (slugstage) while presenting it to the RO to check if it was clear. He loads like hell from the single rig like his team mates from Serbia Igor and Goran (1st and 2nd in modified and shot-of winner) For sure Branislav would have taken place 2 or 3 in modified if he wasnt so unfortunate. When you take a look at the loading of the Finnish topshooters 1st and 3rd in standard you wil see a lot 1 by 1 loading from the wristband Greetings Adrie
  4. Thanks in advance for that offer Trapr For sure the panam has my interest, both working and shooting the match. Just yesterday i talked again with Patrick about attending, looks like in 6 or 7 weeks we can make the final decision. And a few of your german friends are looking out to this match as well. Next to that i'll be awaiting the match call up by IROA to apply for officiating if possible. Cheers Adrie
  5. Same here Trapr, But we migth not see the stage designs before they passed the sanctioning commision. Greetings Adrie
  6. I recently returned from one major match overthere on which i worked as area CRO. There was only 1 empty chamber start on my area and. Miko shot that match too btw. Greetings Adrie
  7. I wouldnt say it in that way but i aint a fan of the load-one-shoot-one either. IMHO it is more a kinda UKPSA thing btw. The places where i go i didnt encounter a load-one-shoot-one stage yet. We did however incorparate an exercise like that in the practical gunhandling test for dutch shooters in order to acquire a license. Greetings Adrie
  8. Website got online, some basic info to find but it is not finished yet. http://esc09.eu/index_en.php Greetings Adrie
  9. It'$ 39.00 a person each in a 4-6 person cabin. Main match is 5 days including a rest day. Taking in account you wanne be at opening and closing ceremony you are in for at least 8 nigths i gues.....
  10. Next weekend i wil be shooting the Shotgun III match at the range in Oparany. Every time i been there i enjoyed a lot and i am sure this time it wont be different. For next year try to attend the CNC Tournament, Part 1 - Shotgun 15 and 16 may. 16 stages in 2 days http://www.ipsc.org/matchDetails.php?ref=D91572208 Together with the SK-cup in Philippsburg begin of may a good warm up for ESC2009. Greetings Adrie
  11. Telling here what most already know, Nova is the most easy to load by far. (for me) Greetings Adrie
  12. Hurley, the match refering too is called "NRW - Trophy" It is a regular level III IPSC handgunmatch. You can sign up and shoot the match. As shooter you shoot al stages at one day so sunday is usualy filled up rapidly. In case you win, you wil get a nice "Trophy" besides your presidents medal. Greetings Adrie
  13. Without any fog i can enjoy Duffy from time to time. But she got something in her voice that can make get you into a depression.
  14. Even at last weekends SK Cup in Germany there was already significant talk about this match Trapr. With next year ESC coming up shotgun is hot at the moment. Myself find it difficult to plan already for 2010 but the PanAm sure got my attention too. Greetings Adrie
  15. Vaclac usualy shoots the boxmagazine fed AK-47 style SG's Patrick Greetings Adrie
  16. Hmmmpff shopgun, Loosen up a bit. The use and usefullness of sigths on a shotgun is pretty clear now i believe. Myself also got a nice hi-vis light pipe front sight on my loooooooong 28" barrel. As you mention yourself if your gun fits, it hits where you look. Also with slugs..... But dont take it into the extreme. Lets say the more skilled the shooter, the less he has need for a sigth to hit. Hitting an A4 target with a slug at 30 yards without sigths aint a problem for me. Put a classic popper at 75 yards and i wil appreciate some reference at the end of my barrel. Greetings Adrie
  17. Hiya Trapr, I dont know the final total results and percentages yet but if you came in about 13th aint to bad. There was not only a big but also strong field. I think (hope) i wil be around that 13th place too in SG. When i looked at the verifierlist we performed about the same, major screw up on big point stages Double bad for me that the stages i screwed up counted in the 2-gun tournament also so my 4th place in 2-gun production was a bit surprise. The trip to UK was not possible for me but i am determined to get some good results at the Bavarian Championships at P-Burg in a few weeks. Every fun and good luck at the British Open this weekend, most of the guys i talked to day are leaving tomorrow, safe them some beers. Greetings Adrie
  18. What do you mean with 21? Is that 21 ug/dL? I would be happy with that. Greetsz Adrie
  19. Crossfit my ass, just RO some of those stages for a few days! Well the RO's were allowed to do their stage with the first 8 squads in the morning and then again with the another 8 squads in the afternoon. And they were not just there three days mainmatch but also the three days prematch. If they were lucky there was even time to have some lunch in between. A bit like EHC2007 but more extreme. Greetings Adrie
  20. Very good footage indeed. I could even recognize myself on the vid where Frank is shooting stage 16. It was a great match or the shooters,no doubt about that. Greetings Adrie
  21. Patrick tested his M1 yesterday under my supervision and not a single malfunction was detected. Well, besides Patrick misplacing the speedloaders some time. It was nice to see a shooter that happy having his gun running flawless again. And for me it was shooting again with the Nova too after a long time. Greetsz Adrie
  22. I wil be in P-burg as well another 2 times this year George is indeed the one that made the vests for the ESC2006 in Greece. Myself shooting the shotgun for the first time ever in 2005 thougth i was not ready for Greece that time. Lets hope the ESC2009 wil be in Czech Republic because that is THE shooters paradise in Europe in my opinion. And this time i wil be ready to shoot, and/or work as RO at the ESC. I think the various loading techniques are for different purposes suitable and the best on different occasions. When Oliver Damm from Germany stil shot standard i was always impressed how easy he switched from applying different loading techniques. Stronghand-weakhand-2 at a time, 4 at a time, from a belt from, from a box whatever. Slovenian shooters like Boštjan Pavlič or Andrej Feguš are more then fast loaders, and they are only using a single belt with clips, they outrun me easy. I just addapted the single belt + double load vest for my loading technique and i think it is not the most fast but can do. For me there is stil more to win by inproving the shooting technique Greetings Adrie
  23. For unknown reasons (they never break? ) there is a spare crank for a SD on my attack. If needed you can lent it until Steve at Dillons sended you a replacement. Greetings Adrie
  24. Hiya Spook, Can i help you out with some spare parts? I gues we will be at the same match and i will be there too saturday morning. Greetings Adrie
