  1. Post the video to YouTube and then copy the url into your post. Then the forum does some kind of magic and it shows up as an embedded video... Hope that helps, but I'm not very good at the internet.
  2. Here's a video of my shootoff run. Thanks to Freedom Munitions for making this happen, it was my my first ever shootoff and it was a blast!
  3. Casanova was loading dueces. Romero and I were quad loading, as well as Ravin Perry.
  4. Nope. I seriously doubt anyone can "hex load" with much speed or consistency. I bought one of the Taccom hex carriers when they came out, just to play with, and while I could get them in the gun, it was not easy or fast.
  5. I ordered 2. 16 bucks for ground shipping seems steep, but if they work I'll be happy.
  6. I've been checking their website every couple of days to see if they were ready to take my money. So far no dice.
  7. In again. Wish it was at Clinton House like last year, but I'm sure it will be worth the longer drive. Woody's is a hell of a nice place to have a match.
  8. +1 for the Luth MBA. Very light weight, and inexpensive for the adjustability provided. I fought with getting lined up behind a scope quickly and consistently with a straight combed stock until I finally put a stock with an adjustable cheek riser on my gun, and I haven't looked back since.
  9. With the Miculek you get a little more than you pay for. My favorite brake is the SJC Titan. I think it works a little better than the Miculek, but it's definitely not twice as good.
  10. I load the the shells then hit the shell release and rack. I have no issue with people pulling the trigger, but I prefer not to. In practice last weekend I had no problem getting a hit on steel in less than 4.5 seconds from port arms with an empty start (8 shells loaded). I don't think I'm giving up time to very many people by not pulling the trigger to release a shell.
  11. Spending a couple of days in Homestead, Florida right now. Currently 55, high of 72 expected this afternoon.
  12. The new Daniel Defense buttstock has built in QD sockets. I have a couple of them and they seem to be very well made.
  13. Looks like Reptoid beat me on the draw
  14. I don't think your tube is 20mm in diameter, it is probably 1 inch. The objective lense is probably 20mm but not the tube. I may be way off but I've never heard of a Leupold with a smaller than 1 inch tube.
  15. OK, maybe I am uninformed or just kinda dumb, but why exactly should anyone be running from this trigger?
  16. I doubt they would discontinue the Versamax unless they come out with a 3.5 inch version of the new gun.
  17. Thread resurrection- finally got around to shooting this with a camera handy. Best run was a 7.6x before the camera was on, this one was barely sub 8 seconds.
  18. Update: the gun is running like water through a screen door. This thing is awesome!
  19. I know a lot of people really like the ELS system. I can't comment on it as I've never used one, but for the Teclok route (which is what I use) I can recommend the DAA belt. It is way stiffer than others on the market, which is a definite advantage when you're hanging the amount of gear required for 3 gun off of it.
  20. Mine loosens all the time. I've just gotten into a habit of checking it before every stage. I installed my Carbon Arms tube extra super hand tight with no Loctite and the Nordic extension regular hand tight. I don't consider it a problem.
  21. Check out the Binary Engineering dealer forum, I don't think he's mass producing the sights yet, but he's rolling out some pretty cool stuff.
  22. http://www.luth-ar.com/the-mba-modular-buttstock-assembly/ Check out the Luth AR MBA. I've been using one for a while now on my 16" match rifle. Quality is excellent, you get great adjustability and it's much lighter than similar stocks. Not to mention it's $100+ cheaper than a PRS.
  23. After considering what Kurt said about the lifter being slow, and talking to Taran, I discovered that the lifter was contacting/ dragging on a corner of the trigger group. I disassembled the trigger group and filed/polished the corner until it no longer contacts. I took it out today and ran a flat of Remington Gun Club and 50 Extra Light AA's (1 Oz. 1180 fps) and it ran like a Benelli is supposed to, no hangups of any kind. I am pretty positive the problem is resolved, and was caused by the lifter getting hung up on that corner. I'm very impressed by TTI's customer service (they offered to take the gun back and look at it or send a new trigger group) and I appreciate the input on here (thanks Kurt!) Attached picture shows the place I filed and polished,if you look at the trigger group from buttstock end it's the forward right corner (left side in the picture).
  24. The +5 should give you 10+1. You will probably have to trim the spring to fit the 10th round.
