  1. Show up with questions you want answered that you can't answer yourself. Do you have a Kestrel with Applied Ballistics software? Do you know how to "true" it? Do you have a sling and know how to use it? Etc. get your money's worth out of the class. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I just had this guy: http://www.lsholster.com/ build my 3 gun rig for my STI. You'd have to message him to let him know which optic cut out, etc you'd be running. I also ordered matching mag pouches for my AR mag and STI mags.
  3. No one posted a BOB stroller yet? The Kolpin double XL rhino atv mounts are adjustable and quickly remove for when TOL (the old lady) wants to use her kid buggy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Anyone have advice as to which mag well will fit a gen 3 20sf and still be able to run Taran +4 base pads?
  5. I thought that they looked like gold dots with out the hollow points. I'll get them next week and do a side by side comparison and maybe smash one with a hammer. Supposedly speer TMJ's have a thick plating 0.015" similar to Barry's "thick" plating.
  6. How difficult is it to cut through the copper plating with a knife? I don't have any plated bullets. I think they might be Speer TMJ's. I'm not sure. I'm going to buy these and don't have them in my possession.
  7. 180gr and .40 is what I know about them.
  8. Have you guys tested accuracy and run out of your .223/5.56 rounds after loading on your 650/Mr.Bulletfeeder/Lyman M die set-ups? What type of crimp die are you using on the last stage to knock the bell off of the case mouth?
  9. If I want to use a Mr. Bulletfeeder on my 650 and load 9, 40, and .223 which parts will I need to order? -complete Mr. Bulletfeeder kit 9mm -.223 caliber conversion -.40 powder funnel What else would I need?
  10. One of my buddies from high school played an extra when filming took place near Durango, CO. He was constantly plugging the movie via his Facebook account. I finally watched the movie 2 weeks and I wasn't impressed. I never even saw which character my buddy played. I think his part was edited out. Oh well.
  11. be Great movie. I was wondering the same thing about the lack of guns on the high-jacked ship. Perhaps it has something to do with firearms laws in countries where firearms are illegal all together. Maybe the maersk travels to those countries where guns are outlawed. Or maybe it's just a simple company policy that there are no guns allowed on any of there ships.
  12. Anyone watching this series? The scenery is awesome. The competition part of the show is staged, and I wonder how well the teams would do without the interference of the producers. I think the current endurance team with those locals from AK would win.
  13. I went to see the movie in IMAX. First IMAX movie for me. I highly recommend this format.
  14. This will be just for fun, a range only gun, and perhaps for use as a sidearm in tactical precision rifle where there aren't any magazine restrictions. I just want to piece together a higher capacity mag that will still be reliable using a TTI baseplate.
  15. I want to put some TTI base pads on my 126mm mags, either to increase the capacity, or just to change out the plastic. I don't have a mag well that will interfere with the base pads. What combinations of TTI base pads, springs, and followers work reliably together, and what was the round capacity you came up with?
  16. I pre ordered today at a verizon store. They were already sold out of some of the colors in the 16GB size phones. They promised a ship date of next friday on the regular size iPhone 6. The larger screen iPhone 6 plus had ship dates in mid October. I think they were quoting mid October because they were sold out of certain 6 plus models at 3pm today.
  17. What was the turn around time?
  18. I've got a KKM .40 barrel that some rounds (10%) won't chamber. Those same rounds that won't chamber will pass a chamber check with my Dillon case gauge, my HK USP .40 barrel, and a stock Glock barrel. The rounds are loaded using a redding sizing die, and crimped with a Lee FCD. I did some research and found out that I could have the KKM barrel loosened up a bit by KKM, but I'm too lazy to send it in. I simply save my 10% failure rounds for when I shoot without the KKM barrel.
  19. I would say he probably wet tumbles with stainless media to get um looking that pretty. I guess I set myself up for that one.... Where do you get a wet tumbler? I use the "high speed thumblers tumbler" for small batches of brass (2-3lbs). For large batches (3-22lbs) I have a large tumbler that uses PVC drums. http://biggdawgtumblers.net/
  20. Yes guys. Junk brass and junk primers, as in those primers that are spent and that brass that I've some how managed to destroy and crush by my delicate hand . I save all brass and it gets sorted into the reloadable bucket or the junk bucket.
  21. I just settled on this exact load for my Glock 29 (10mm) when I swap my .40 S&W KKM conversion barrel in for "cheap" practice. The load feels like a .22 pistol when compared to the full powered 10mm loads.
  22. Here is some 9mm brass I collected from my HK94 with the fluting stripes: and here the same brass after cleaning with the wet tumbling stainless media: It's crazy how nice the brass looks after it's washed!
  23. Thanks! Is the random pistol & rifle brass I've got considered "yellow brass" or is it some sort of mix like the 80/20?
  24. I have a few pounds of brass I'm ready to take to the recycle center. What prices are your local scrap yards giving you for your junk brass and primers? This will be my first trip and haven't figured out where I'm going get the best price. Is there some sort of national "spot price" like there is for gold and silver?
