Dillon 650 swager on eBay.
firemantj replied to Scott Steele's topic in non-Dillon Reloading Equipment
You're welcome. I will try to post some pictures when mine gets here. It will probably be something that sits in a drawer. Will always search here before I buy anything reloading related from now on. -
Dillon 650 swager on eBay.
firemantj replied to Scott Steele's topic in non-Dillon Reloading Equipment
I saw this a few days ago and ordered one because it sounded so awesome. Then I started searching here on Enos and found this thread (specifically, the post by dillon.) Now, I'm scared to install it. -
Pro-Grip Gel + A very aggressively stippled grip from Akai Custom Guns. I'm not a fan of the Pro-Grip Spray.

650 Powder Check Alternative

Thanks for bringing this back up. Had no clue there were other, more cost effective (read: cheap) alternatives. -
Looks like a good flick.

Anyone using Matchsaverz?
firemantj replied to blairmckenzie1's topic in Multi-gun Gear & Accessories
I got mine from TK at The Shooter's Source. It has actually built my confidence so much that I don't worry about running the gun dry. -
New (and first) AR for 3-gun, what cleaning kit should I get
firemantj replied to Iggy42's topic in Rifle - Technical
I just got Otis' new 3 Gun kit. Very convenient. About the size of a hockey puck and everything you need for all three guns.. -
Yet another vote for Hear-Pro and the PRO-39s. I shot a local match with them once and went to work in the gunsmith shop and forgot they were there, worked for another 8 hours with them in. Ever since, I wear them in the shop too. Cuts out the noise pollution of the machines and makes it more...peaceful. It's a great product. I never realized how important good hearing protection was until I got a pair.

You hit the nail on the head. Should have called it something else.

Anyone tried the POF Enhanced Finger Placement trigger?
firemantj replied to RifleShooter's topic in Rifle - Technical
FWIW, I played with the sample that POF had at SHOT. It felt pretty nice, but the sample was just in an aluminum block with no grip on it from what I can recall, so it was a little hard to tell how it would really feel in a rifle. Great concept though. If I had the spare cash i would have got one to test out. Spent my money at the show on a Gieselle though, couldn't be any more happy. -

John Noveske

Sad day... Thoughts and prayers to the family and friends. -
That is a massive understatement. This is a book that is very unlike a "normal" book - it is a history told by the survivors. It is really quite brilliant, but it was going to be hard to make into a movie. J. Michael Straczynski was hired to do a screenplay and that's the movie that should have been made. You can find copies of it on the internet and he did an incredible job of turning the book into a workable script. But Brad Pitt (who had a piece of the movie) and some of the money people wanted an action movie. Why? Who knows, there are enough of them already, why not make a compelling movie instead. Something that looks like something that could actually happen. Something that asks the really hard questions about how far people would be willing to go to protect themselves and their family. Instead, we get just another mindless action movie. I will not be going and if you read and liked the book, you should consider not going. +1 Well said, sir.

What hearing protection do you guys use?
firemantj replied to shuter's topic in Multi-gun Gear & Accessories
Hear-Pro In-The-Ear electronics here. I love them. It's like they are not even there. No need for sweaty muffs. -
They appear to have strayed FAR from the book. Very Far.

Glad to see another shooting coming out to Okeechobee! Ask around for TJ next time! It would be nice to meet another Enos member. -
I saw them on the table at RockCastle. They looked very good. Machined aluminum I think.Have no idea about the price though. The guy at the table told us they would be around $40.
