  1. Waited 20 years to have mine taken out, wish I had taken them out right after they came in. Little sore the first day, but that was it. They only had to chisel & cut one of the four out. It's not that bad.
  2. Or he would have zeroed the stage cuz his Xrail didn't work..... OR, I think I won that stage with an X-rail lol......
  3. Opening weekend of deer huinting here in Indiana, but that's okay still looking forward to it.
  4. Hamp, Thanks for doing all you & the AMU have done. The FB3G was the the show case of the 3-gun matches. Hope to see you & the guys at other matches, later in the year. Tony
  5. May be an outdoor steel match at Marion County Club on the 25th? Can anybody confirm? Got an e-mail they had one last Friday night on the 11th. Tony
  6. Just started using the Safrailand 013, it has the new locking system & is very secure.
  7. Brian sorry for loss, give my condolences to Tyler & the rest of your family. Tony
  8. Not A fan of the prop guns either for most of the reasons stated here. Always seem to work best at the begining & fade towards the end of the match, even if there are back ups, problems seem to happen. Reshoots don't always happen if a prop gun fails at some matches, which is not right. Blind stages are only blind to the first squad. Yeah, yeah I know that everyone is not going to talk about it afterwards, right. I know some will say that's what hurts everyone elses chances on a blind stage, but secrets never stay secret, people talk & then word travels to everyone. Tony
  9. +1, LC brass works fine & you could buy alot more of it for the price of the Lapua.
  10. DPMS, I've got two, 1 set up for 3-gun & 1 for CQB training.
  11. Jeff, I read it as IMGA rules for the 4 stages just like we have all year. This is a seperate event from the 3-gun nationals, but just being held at the same range the next day. Benny, everyone shoots Tac Optics for the match, all guns. Tony
  12. How can anybody that likes to shoot or just likes guns hope there isn't a shooting show on next season? I think Andre and Kelly should have their man cards taken away too for not knowing how to play poker.
  13. Why is it so hard for people to understand you can NEVER level the field. How about making sure every one weighs the same, it's not fair for a 300# 50yr old to compete against a 150# 20 yr old. What about the short guys shooting through a higher port, or tall through a low one likewise someone with 20/15 vision VS 20/40 I've got a bad knee and wear a brace, I think everyone else should have to as well I also don't spend as much $$ as some on equipment that's not fair either. Maybe I didn't sleep well the night before!!!! there's no end to the grading. Pretty soon we'll be at the "Everyone gets a trophy" point. My attitude has always been "Do the best you can with what you have ,if you don't like the outcome , do what it takes to improve your preformance don't try to drag someone else down to your level" RIGHT ON BROTHER!!! Trapr, Maybe we can all just share & not even compete, or we could just have match guns to use & hope for the best, that way we're all equal. There's no need to keep score or try, it's just a game & we're there just to make each other feel good about each other. Just spend time together & hold hands & sing coom ba ya. Yes that's it, that's why we have spent years practicing & lots of money to get better at this sport so we can have instant gratification.
  14. I would have totally agreed with you before this actually happened with only ONE of my AR's & all of them are set up the same. So I know I don't hold or drive or what ever this gun any different from the others, but it will definitly print in two differnt elvations at the same yardage, on soft or hard surfaces, mag or bypod/forearm/sandbag. Same issue if someone else also shoots it & same location of groups. The gun will drive tacks but you have to zero it one way or the other. I give!
  15. Really!!!! Wouldn't be because the front pin hole on the upper was not a tight fit & would move the upper around when a mag was pushing up on the upper??? I have only one upper that this happens on, so DRIVING the gun has very little to do with this.
  16. I have one rifle that does change impact when shot from a bypod or forearm & from a monopod. Put that lower on another upper & it stops, so it has to be the fit between the two being loose enough to push the mag up enough to seperate ever so much the upper from lower. it is enough difference of 3" at 200 yds.
  17. Save some for me this year! Don't let Benny near it, we know how that ended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Hey everyone! there is a detailed article posted on our web site and the listing of the 41 competitors that have qualified thus far. After Rocky Mountain, many will have completed the 3 minimum matches and I'm sure the top 50 will shake up dramatically. The rest of the field and their 3GN scores from all the matches will be posted as well, we expect it to be up this week. http://www.3gunnation.com/ We'll post the top 50 asap after the Rocky Mountain match so folks can make their plans. Thought you guys changed it to 2 minimum matches since BRM 3-Gun got cancelled or have you added another match to the list???????? Thanks!
