  1. I hate that my daughter has to go through spinal fusion surgery on Monday to help her scoliosis. It will be a rough recovery... I like that medical science has figured out way to help correct this...but I hate that my daughter has to go through it... I dry fired for an hour today, just to help remove the stress. I had one good hour today. I don't know many people here personally, but if you want to send a prayer on Monday, I will accept all I can get. Jeremy
  2. +1, I bought his classic and was done. I would like to get the ultra striker though...
  3. I just intalled the super heavy (6.7 oz with plug) and the first thing I really liked was how it balanced out the gun.
  4. I know that place, I used to live in Nevada City... Miss the foothills, beautiful area. Hope you find a shooting group.
  5. do you have the rm mag pouches or the plastic>? thanks.
  6. I need to buy a holster rig for my g35 open... What did you have to do to make it work?
  7. Well, how did I miss that... Awesome, thanks. Still want a zombiessss shirt too!
  8. I will not be setting this up as a group buy then, rather I will get the design into Techwear and allow each purchase it individually (I didn't want to handle money anways ) I wanted a tw shirt, but felt silly advertising for a company that didn't know me. I kept hoping there would be an "Enos" shirt... the bumper sticker design would be awesome, hint hint.. I like this. Agree with no black though. orange, yellow, grey maybe even a bright green,,,would all make the current avatar pop, imho. Let us know!
  9. I don't think it is as much as sticker shock as it is just not the norm for these guys. I have taken my open glock to my local indoor range to test loads, new parts etc and always stop all shooting with people wanting to know what it is. And mine isn't a sweet s_i style... I say "these guys" as much as the employees as their customers. It is amazing how specialized the guns we shoot are. Most people at the indoor range are so curious it isn't a short trip as I had planned. I always think that maybe I turned a newbie onto this awesome sport...while knowing I am a newbie.
  10. I love anything that is homemade and works... But, what does this help with in regards to shooting? I have never thought, "if only my thumb had a place to rest". I recently learned to let my thumbs "ride the slide" as to not put pressure on the slide. I think that helped my grip... Not a hater at all, just curious as to the benefit? I don't mind showing my stupidity if this is a well known fix to a problem I don't know I have.
  11. http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Gas_Pistols_SMGs_KSC_KSC_G17_Rail_Frame_Metal_Slide_Version_.htm This is new, or at least it wasn't avail a few months ago.
  12. I am a rookie to reloading, but all my research said "a 550 if your are new" and I believe it. I am still loading slowly. Trying to learn it all, but maybe you are a faster learner than myself.. hope it works out for you...
  13. with the title being "grinding the crack" I was prepared for something completely different, but that was still awesome.
  14. Explaining a "rescued hampster" my be more difficult(and disgusting)than explaining supporting the local stores that support his schools and roads through taxation. just sayin... That being said, "I like" that a parent is developing a work ethic. ps, I think any used hamster is a dead hamster. I could wrong, but ...I can't remember an ad for a used hamster.
  15. umm, wtf over. how did he figure that out.... I am still trying to figure out how to put a 165 gr piece of lead through an area of 4 inches and make it work.

    Lowe's

That would be correct Keith. Thanks for your service!
  17. I think that what you are doing shouldn't change your balance. I balance the same for every shot or drill. Just one more consistant thing that I think shouldn't change. Of course, off balance shots would be different, i.e. squating, leaning etc... I could be wrong with this thought, but it has worked for me.
  18. I use what I learned in my golf training in my stance. If you are standing on your heels, you may just need to bend your knees slightly to move your center of mass forward just slightly. I stand straight, align my chest with my toes vertically and then bend the knees to the point of feeling a 70-30 pressure on front balls of feet to rear hells. I don't do it in this order, just explaining the position. I think this is more a comfort zone than a right vs wrong issue. It is also one of those things I just snap to with years of knowing what the correct "feel" is for me. Hope that helps.

    Lowe's

I run a Lowe's store. If you are making a big purchase, ask to speak to the manager on duty and explain what project you are working on. I am always open to creating a great customer experience for those that choose my store. Help me help you. No need to try and and work a system. Just support those employed there and be honest about what you need. In the end we both win. We also offer an every day 10% off to Veterans, and there is nothing more gratifying than giving that military discount and shaking their hand for their support to our country.
  20. Here are a few picture's , my dad and I just got it together ....... we are going to shot it this weekend, I'll tell y-all know how it goes. you have an awesome dad! If he is interested in adopting a 40 year old, tell him to ping me! I am potty trained.
  21. I am new to competition too. I find that just focusing on technique and not worrying about speed actually makes me faster. I figure if I practice the techniques then speed will follow without trying to force it.
