  1. Wasn't planning on it but is a great idea... perhaps in the coming weeks. Regarding the Zero 125gr JHP, my favorite bullet thus far (still have a few thousand stashed)... stopped buying them when their supply dried up a few years back and when they became available again, the price went up quite a bit ... Used to get them for like 6.something cents each from Powder Valley but now I can't find them for less than 10cents per bullet and that's rough. It is more accurate than the MG out of my glock. Plan to use the ones I have left at major matches until I run out. Zero's are hard to get...Living 15 minutes from Shooters Connection has its perks, though! I can run by and grab them all up lol
  2. gunstop.com has them in 100 count quantities.
  3. Interesting. I have been running 4.2gn's of N320 with the MG so I will work up a few loads to compare.
  4. Cool comparison. Any plans to chrono them back to back to see if there are any significant differences? I recently bought some 125gn Zero conical JHP's since MG was sold out of the 124's...I am going to do a little comparison to see if there is any advantage one way or the other.
  5. SHHHHH!!! That was my plan!!!! LOL Figure if they are there early, might as well help setup huh?
  6. See you guys there! Also, don't forget to set your clocks back or you will be there a little early lol
  7. If you are going to compare the cost of ammo to factory new, compare apples to apples and you will technically be saving even MORE... For instance, winchester white box of 9mm is $21 per 100. Ok, thats a 115gn RN bullet and winchester powder. I shoot a Montana Gold 124gn JHP bullet with N320 powder (pretty pricey stuff) and do it for about $12.50 per 100. If I were to make an equivalent round to WWB, I would be at probably $10.50 a box or so...You could NEVER buy a round equal to the quality of the ones I make for anywhere close to my cost. I think 125gn HP (Federal, Hornady, Speer etc.) is like $20 per 50...maybe even more than that. My cost per round: $.125 Equivalent factory: $.36 3:1 ratio...Doesnt take long to pay for that new Dillon 650!! And I guarantee my loads are more accurate in MY gun because they are made for it...
  8. My Glock's love 124gn Montana Gold JHP's...They are about $300 (shipping included) per case of 3,750. Very accurate and high quality. I have used Ranier plated bullets before for 9mm and .45 and they are ok but in the end, dont save you much money.
  9. There are a few places that sell MG bullets in small quantities (100) such as gunstop.com Maybe pick up a few and try them out in small batches, see if you like the results. If you like 147gn bullets, both MG and Zero's are great. I personally dont care for the way the gun cycles with 147gn bullets but some people like it.
  10. Congrats man! Working on that myself...At 50% now lol
  11. Are you shooting from a rest? I would be more concerned with how tight the groups are than where they are...Most likely the "left" is being induced by your trigger pull. Oh and 1.160 is a bit long, especially for 115gn bullets. I am at 1.140 for 124 and 147gn bullets.
  12. Very nice! I applaud you for using that Vette "as intended". The Z06 is on my list of things to own...When I hit the lottery. Just what we need another cheby lover Don't start that hate in here Mustang boy!
  13. Welcome! I think we need pics of said Z06

    Glock 17 EXO

LOL Wait, what? You re-oil your standard finish Glocks after every 100 rounds? Tell me I misread that... Back on topic, I have never seen this finish on a Glock. Looks ok, wouldnt buy one myself as I prefer the "all black" but it sounds like its durable anyway... There is no LOL about it. I reapply the recommended six drops after about 100 rounds of shooting. A Glock pistol needs little oil, but it does need some. Redlining it at the range makes things dry out. It is especially needed where the trigger bar meets the connector. With the EXO Glock, I still will do this one application (because there is no EXO coating in this spot), yet I will not do the other five drops. To make a plug for a product, FP-10 seems to lasts longer though on the connector. By no means do I imply they do not need oil...But re-lubricating it every 100 rounds is a bit much. I shoot 3-400 rounds every time I go to the range. I am not going to stop, strip the gun, lubricate it etc. Your gun, your time so thats cool but I guess my point was if you think that is required maintenance, it's not. So you could ease up a bit and I think you will find your gun will run just fine
  15. You must have, they are out now. LOL I ninja'd an order in before they sold out, I guess
  16. I just got a 4lbs. keg from Graf's last week. Was in stock when I ordered online. Maybe I got the last one
  17. Terriers was great...Now we will never know if he went to prison or Mexico...
  18. Put my app in the mail! Stages look great, gonna be a fun match for sure.
  19. lol Every time I mention something about him changing guns, the wife gives me the "it's just a TV show" look...
  20. The wife and I love Justified! Being from Eastern KY myself, there are some "inconsistencies" that pop up but, for the most part, they do a great job. Definitely recommend it.
  21. Regardless of what it is, a trigger, fancy slide cuts and a gold bbl dont justify the $2000 premium over a stock Glock. You know, the $500 gun that is 99.9% reliable right out of the box....
