I would start at 4.5 @ 1.125 and see how they work for you. That should be a pretty good round to plink with.

I've used 4.8 @ 1.125.. Are you trying to make power factor our using them for plinking?

Thanks, that gives me a better idea. I've always wanted to shoot at Rockcastle and Owensboro, hopefully I'll make it to both places this year. -

I use 3.5 grains of TG with 147's.

The least I tried was 3.0 grains, averaged about 850 fps out of a glock.

2.8 to 3.0 should work nicely. What pistol will you be using?

I'm also a fan of the Nitro Fin, feels weird with out it. I had to perform surgery on my blade tech holster, but it works great. (not a fan of race holsters)

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the three mentioned above.

I had a similar problem when I started, made a little more effort when separating media and that cleared it up. -
I think replacing parts at a match is stressful.. always in a hurry, no testing etc.. I've never had my G34 fail me, but a back up gun would be my choice.
