I tried a Bladetech WRS for my Shadow and had to send it back. The kydex is formed with the safety on and the hood only fit over hammer down. Not mechanically possible nor is that an acceptable ready condition. Customer service said they would notify production of the error. Ordering the Safariland GLS today.

I run 3 Mec-gar AFC in position 1-3, and 3 CZ's as my 4-6 and dry fire mags. Springer pads make them uniform. All drop free when clean. A stainless mag brake in the gun was a noticeable improvement.

Dry fire practice so your fundamentals are solid. Draw to freestyle, reload, strong hand, reload, weak hand. Draw from 4 positions: hands at sides, surrender, turn then draw, table start.

If you take a self defense class your handloads won't be allowed. Save your factory ammo for that if nothing else.

I started using Ghost 360s, bullets out, just this month. Practice was weird but at a matches I was so focused on other stuff I didn't notice anything different.

You guys are killin' me. I've had a base Shadow on order for 2 months but if it takes much longer I'll have enough coin to make it deluxe.

On my blade tech holsters I remove the top retention screw and add a knob. Two quick turns to snug the gun between stages and I have no dropped gun worries.

Nimitz is correct. Go shoot. It's all good practice.

I like Blade-tech but I put a knob in place of the top retention screw. Screw it down for walkin' about, loosen when it's my turn to shoot.

First, get a chrono. It's a safety thing. Second, for Steel Challenge use the lightest load that's accurate and cycles your gun. No need for more.

"C" without a doubt. The barrel is the ultimate gauge. I can tell by my gauge which of my guns a round will chamber in. Snug fit and any gun I have will chamber it. Rim slightly exposed means FN only. Rim entirely exposed needs to be rechecked with the gun but will usually chamber. I have a SDB so U-dies are out of the question for me and I've learned to manage my bulged brass.

I've shot production for 3 years with my old Tupperware, FNP9 and Walther P99. I've decided to buy a dedicated game gun since it's hard to get parts when my guns break. Staying in Production with 9mm. CZ75 SP01 Shadow, $880, parts and upgrades readily available.

I shopped this pretty hard trying to decide what trim line had enough goodies balanced with what I could afford. I decided to get the Shadow (+$220 over sp01) but put the short reset disco in and polish the action myself. I'll stock spare parts and try some different hammer springs after I've got this running. Need holster, extra mags, etc.

My gun runs fine in the cold. As other have said no grease, only oil.

I'd suggest L10 also.

Fill all the stations. You'll get a more consistent load using the press progressively than turret style.

I use a DAA belt system for USPSA, Steel Challenge, and dry fire. For IDPA I shoot my carry gear on my carry belt. We all need to practice with our carry setup sometimes.

Universal from P.V. here. I just kept checking until it showed up.

I got a rifle and some handloads from my great uncle George. I will shoot them myself with out reservation but I wouldn't let anyone else. Uncle was so meticulous even his weed eater string had measurements written on the box! Shoot them if you trust the loader.

So CCI is between Fed and Tula, near Win, somewhere in the middle. Hope that clears it up! I find CCI seat harder so maybe the ones that didn't light for me were a little high? Either way Win works better for me.

I find CCI harder than Win.

I overlap the under belt in front and the over belt in back on my strong side. I have no gear from my spine to my holster.

The DA is a slight disadvantage on the first shot but for all the follow ups shots the steel frame gun with the tuned SA trigger has the advantage.
