  1. I picked one up a while ago along with the sorting trays. Saves a lot of time and saves the back too.
  2. Congrats! Man, I've been thinking the same thing about my 650 with the same results.
  3. I was lucky enough pick-up a used one at a match last year for $50 w/both large and small tubes. It was a little rough so I sent it to Dillon for a rebuild - $80 later I had pretty much a new machine with the rheostat upgrade. Any way, I love the thing. Loaded 800 rounds last night and one flipped primer - which is pretty rare anyway. I'm just trying to stay happy with the 650....must keep 1050 out of brain.... ...but I did recently order a Mr. Bulletfeeder.
  4. Maybe it's time to make it a three man operation. Seriously, Donnie is awesome and if you haven't tried Bayou Bullets yet, your missing out. Congrats to Donnie! Glad to see his business doing so well.
  5. Yep - well worth the price. I also have the Nut Wizard that Dillon sells for picking up range brass. I usually pick up a couple of gallons at a time without doing the chickin dance and it's quick and easy to sort when I get home or have time. Highly recommend both products.
  6. 147 - Bayou Bullet 3.8 - VV N330 1.135 - OAL WSP Mixed headstamp 135 PF out of my P226 Laser accurate, very clean.
  7. Plated? None. Bayou Bullets all the way.
  8. I generally don't give a darn about losing 1 round per stage. If the RO catches it, great - but I don't try to as I keep my attention on my firearm. They are not too tough to find though since I am one of the only guys shooting Bayou Bullets at my club.
  9. So titegroup will cost maybe 0.8 cents per round and VVN320 or 330 will cost about 1.4 ...I guess I wouldn't worry too much about the cost of powder. Alot more money to be saved in cases or buying bullets & primers....and of course buying everything in bulk.
  10. Ordered a pair of Mudclaws for my wife (they didn't have my size). The shoes were too narrow and were returned to Zappos. Since inventory is so limited right now we are not able to try another size. Do the Inov8s usually run narrow?
  11. I shoot Bayou 147s over N330. Very clean, very accurate and I kind of like the smell.
  12. Look-up member dnh here. He reports that he runs the RCBS crimper/seater in all of his pistol rounds with great success.
  13. I went with the Uniquetek Micrometer on all of my powder measures - not the cheapeast route, but I highly recommend it.
  14. I have the same challenge and just ordered the RCBS seater/taper crimp die as I want to keep the powder check intact. I have received the dies but have not yet had the time to install and try it out - plus I still have a couple months wait before my new Mr. Bulletfeeder will be ready. In any event, the RCBS die is about $30 so no biggie if it does not work out.
  15. If you want to shoot lead, try one of the polly/molly coated bullets like from Bayou Bullets. I shoot their 147gr FP over N330. It's laser accurate, very clean, little if any smoke and you can't beat the price vs copper coated MGs. Also, I wouldn't worry about your VV powder cost - it's by far the cheapest component in your reloads. Congrats and welcome to the club!
  16. They are requiring it for the full match? The only time I have shot frangible was in the close quarters shoot houses at Gunsite Academy.
  17. My fiancée looked at this for her EDC Rohrbaugh R9s last year. They have yet to offer a fitment for that weapon so she has not considered it further - but it is intriguing. Here is another video with a live firearm.
  18. Picked up this new to me Les Baer Premier II off GA today. It's my first 1911 and comes with both .45/.400 Cor-bon barrel combo as well as the orginal paperwork and packaging. Owner reports 200 round count and it looks it. I plan to run this in SS/L10 divisions somewhere down the road. Right now I am having too much fun shooting production with my P226 - but the LB was priced right and too pretty to pass up.
  19. Thanks all for the feedback... I will probably try it both ways. Ordered an RCBS taper crimp/seater die. If that works for me then most likely I will keep the powder check. Otherwise I will stay with the Dillon dies and install the Mr. Bulletfeeder in station 3.
  20. Easy to forget....someone posted a while back to hang the safety glasses on the handle. It's what I do now.
  21. Are any of you guys running your Mr. Bulletfeeder on a 650? If so, how are your dies set up?
