FWIW, I was visiting Predator Tactical and their guns run perfect with Wilson ETM's and 47D's in 45 ACP. Think they only hold 9 though. Given that though, I would think that a 10 round 45 mag would work as well, if you're looking to use the same pistol in SS and L-10.

38 SC and 9mm. 5", non-ported gun. I usually use N350, but have a line on a load of Autocomp. 124 JHP's will be the bullet, so anything from there is appreciated. I used the search function and it was piece meal at best on info. Thanks.

Predator Banshee ETA: Worth the upgrade

Tried a Predator, bought a Predator. Only other gun that I liked is my beat to hell McLearn.

I've got over 100k on a Sprinco and still runs perfect.

Running Wilson ETM's in my SA 1911 and it runs all day with factory ammo.

Drop the powder charge down to a 150PF load and then change recoil springs. Done. It's what a lot of folks do to make their open gun into a steel gun. Changing to a lighter bullet weight might help with the feel a little bit too.

You love the Iron Shrike but are complaining? That said, the Night Shrike is pretty sweet. Never have been a fan of the compact 1911's, but THIS ONE is the one I would get if I was getting one. It shoots super smooth and the flip isn't brutal. Buy with confidence.

For plinkin' 38 Super, I still like N350. However, N340 should be okay. I switched away from VV powders though due to the price.

I switched out of N350 to IMR 4756. It's cheap, meters great and burns like the VV powders, just half the price. Give it and 7625 a look.
