we have rattle snakes, wasps, etc they like to come to matches. saturday morning i'm setting up a stage, and before getting some walls, i empty the obligatory can of wasp spray into the rack of walls. wait a few, then start dragging walls out. lesson one-wait a bit longer, and empty another can into them. got stung twice on weak wrist-tiny sting, but shoot the match. then, spend whole weekend icing my now popeye looking forearm and left hand. benedryl did nothing, IB nothing, ice only made my hand numb. this morning it's discolored and my watch band almost fits. next time i'm pouring a gallon of gas on the walls and burning them in place. :angry:

side-prone. yep, need to practice that. remember gravity as far as your bullet drop goes. optics can be a bit tricky to figure out. if yer right handed, and can, turn yer rifle counterclockwise (ejection port up), and get something under the forearm, like your left fist. sounds like there isn't room for a bipod, or this would work with a stud on the left side of yer handguard.

just like ammo components-precious metal prices are a fraction of what they were a year ago. you see any cheap brass, bullets or primers?

don't matter to me, but i've been told by at least one section coordinator that 1/2 of all texas stars in use are illegal targets. won't mention the manufacturer, but the two we have have little steel tabs extending out from the plates that insert into the arms that can be shot. easily fixed, but too late now.

taran told me about some of it. patrick-you know what they used for stunt guns? on the trailer at about 1:36 depp is firing a thompson, but if you watch the brass coming out of it, it sure looks like 223 brass...way too long for 45 acp.

i hate using ezscore. i hate that i have to tab across a dozen fields just to enter the time. come to think of it, i hate windows. i hate when people show up after the first shot and expect to join in on the noise. i hate when after posting pre-lims someone determines they registered for the wrong division.
