  1. Jake, can you look at mine, 2 posts back... I think I added everything last night .. sorry - Dave
  2. I was really just trying to find out what bullet weights they use in the different divisions and calibers - see what they've decided on speed vs weight. I really only want the breakdown of Caliber, Weight, Major or Minor I've been using 180gr in my 40 for Production, it seems I should go lighter - just looking for comparisons - Once I decide on the weight it's all experimenting and chrony from there.
  3. In Front Sight, they list a bunch of components that the Top 16 used, are the actual loads available anywhere? Thanks, Dave
  4. Fisherman are always welcome... hell of a salmon. Flies?
  5. We shot this one today, I'm new, wondering what my percentage would be.. 2 A's, 4 steel down, 4.48 seconds Limited-10, Major, I'm unclassified Thanks, Dave (with this I finally have 4 classifiers... I'll be a true 'D' !)
  6. Sorry, I have 4 holders, try 2 your way, 2 Erik's
  7. Bucky, Duane thanks... I'm buying some on my way home I might try 2 and 2, see what feels better
  8. Very slick Who built this one? Hard chromed? And what's the gold barrel called? Also, like the serial number....
  9. I don't think it's enabled on this board at all, you'll need to post them somewhere else, and use the image tag to display them. Here's a freebie place: http://villagephotos.com/index.asp
  10. followup. I finally went to the Winchester site and sent them an 'email' - they mailed me one, if anyone else was looking
  11. Erik, thanks for the tip about the free image posting web... (looking at the URL) For others: http://villagephotos.com/index.asp
  12. Thanks Erik. On the over belt by itself, they normally float? I was thinking about adding a filler peice under there, or is the under built trick prefered to it could be moved (with the belt off)?
  13. I'm trying to lock the positions of my mag pouches onto the belt, so they will not slide, but the screw is down all the way, and they still move pretty easily. Is there a secret to this? Thanks, Dave
  14. I'm not saying it's true.... http://www.cnn.com/2002/WORLD/europe/12/13/germany.cannibal/ http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/3075897.stm
  15. I'll wait as long as the gunsmith says it'll take. For the kind of skilled hand work these take, and the number of good smith's, it takes what it takes. If the time is too long, look for a used one, if you want custom, hand built, in a one or two person shop, people can olnly work so fast and produce quality without getting burned out. If I order one, I'm hoping it'll be 6 months or less, I'd probably wait up to a year. With Benny saying 12/16 - I'm fine with that - it's art, with a waiting list, and I'm at the end
  16. I think the 'plastic hinge' is a little too stiff? I get this problem too, it usually opens from the back, to the front. I just need to cut it
  17. Julien... don't start with me. I think of the Big 5 (Challenger, Leopard, T-90, M1A2, LeClerc) - I know the least about the French tank, but it looks alot like the M1 It used to be anything without support wheels was fair game... these days I'd hate to be out picking targets
  18. For trap, skeet you might be building up skills you don't want... leading the target, etc. Trap especially (I think) is more consitancy than anything else. In matches it's who chokes first, you've seen the exact same bird a number of times - I can see it as a concentration excercise, and getting used to the recoil, but beyond that...
  19. Thanks on the Mags... the LMR insertion I don't even think about, it's the one moving during the COF that causes me problems. I definetly feel it in my weak hand. I've had the magazines full for a couple of days, see if this helps - until I get better at the reload, I might only load 9 in the spare mags.
  20. At least he didn't say Leclerc's T-nn anythings should be fair game. T-80's, T-90's might be out though - reactive armour would give the S&W fits..
  21. I use it a lot for tools, books. Free shipping, and with a Amzaon card 3% off... I'm just cheap.
  22. Has anyone seen the Winchester powder rebate coupon online anywhere?
