So are these guns using 6" barrels that are cut down? When the barrel is made do you have to request less of a taper from the muzzle end back?

Ignore the fact that it is a star and just treat them like any other target. Good grip, solid sight picture, appropriate trigger pull. Done. They used to bother me as well, until I stopped worrying about them so much. Now I look forward to them. I am always trying to push myself to clear the entire thing before any of those little bitches can start to rotate!

Yes, the holster itself is fine for production. I've been using one. Just make sure it meets the 2" rule with the adjustments. Make sure the heel of the butt of the gun isn't lower than the top of the belt.

I always go back and forth on the issue of just how much cant is necessary because from a physical standpoint, grip/clamp force is extremely compromised when the wrist is angled to an extreme degree. If you have a tool that measures grip, test it with your wrist straight and when it is canted. There is a big difference. Lately I guess my hand/fingers just follow the angle of the front strap/front fingers as my hand grabs over them. Yesterday I was gripping with my support hand so hard that I removed live skin from the middle knuckle area on my strong hand. I am gonna order a set of CoC grippers today. I think I will start with a 2, based on what I have heard (I have been into the iron game for awhile and never use straps or any assistance devices for pulls/deadlifts/etc).

What model are you referring to? I have the RM and can't get it low enough either. Anyone know if the racer hanger allows more drop?

I wish the racemaster could be dropped just a bit lower. Kinda frustrating that they won't produce a longer hanger.

Can Manny's holster be dropped lower than the Race master? That's my only gripe with the DAA.
