  1. Rowdy your information is invaluable. My last match I was at 9.4%. I have all of the data from my past matches. Would you be willing to post a copy of your spreadsheet with a few lines of sample data? I would like to start tracking my performance at a more granular level.
  2. Lewiston

    Evil Squirrel

My sides ache from laughing so hard!!!
  3. No longer buy or shoot guns that aren't in my EDC rotation/lineup.
  4. Depends on how often you switch calibers. I like having both primer assemblies.
  5. Gen 4. Really like the mag release.
  6. Very cool. Way to think outside of the box. Thanks for sharing.
  7. This would be my choice and also hope it won't be a long wait.
  8. You can also buy 8.5x11" sheets from Talon
  9. OP: Nice job! I agree before pics would've been cool.
  10. OP: The unfortunate reality is while your intentions are legitimate others would try to use it to their advantage.
  11. Another for Ballistol. I do follow up lead sessions with a few FMJ rounds.
  12. How I dress does not change for a match so can become as proficient as possible using my daily wardrobe. Tru-Spec pants, tucked in t-shirt w/ open button down shirt as cover. Footwear is my daily boots with ankle holster minus the BUG (gun removed upon arrival and replaced before leaving). Whitehat IWB holster with IWB mag pouches.
  13. I'm very pleased with the S&W E-Series - round butt, scandium framed .45 Commander. It's been my EDC and IDPA competition gun for over a year.
  14. Agreed. I would ask the other RO to read off the individual numbers: "two zero three six" or "two three six zero"
  15. If the comments are made to emphasize safety then I see no reason not to make them as that is our primary responibility as ROs. I don't view this as giving the competitor an advantange as much as instilling the fact that bad things can happen if safety is not paramount in their approach of the COF.
  16. Can you post a picture of what one looks like for clarification?
  17. Don't overlook Brian's book. One of the best addressing mental preparedness.
  18. Also best to have a single source in the event of amendments.
  19. I believe you are thinking of: 10.2.1 "A competitor who fires shots while any part of their body is touching the ground or while stepping on an object beyond a Shooting Box or a Fault Line, or who gains support or stability through contact with an object which is wholly beyond and not attached to a Shooting Box or Fault Line, will receive one procedural penalty for each occurrence. However, if the competitor has gained a significant advantage on any target(s) while faulting, the competitor may instead be assessed one procedural penalty for each shot fired at the subject target(s) while faulting. No penalty is assessed if a competitor does not fire any shots while faulting."
  20. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and watching you perform. I can't think of another sport where a newbie like myself is able to be in the same squad with a top competitor. Take care, Rik
