Looks to be a busy summer.

Cool. I had to retire the one I have had for a number of years but I had a new in box back up. Hope it lasts at least as long as the first one. Maybe by then someone will make them again.

Lots of choices but I settled on Ramshot TAC and didnt look back. Its good for heavy stuff and also suggested as one of the powders for duplicating the M193 55gr load. I am planning on doing the 55 gr stuff along with the 69 gr I already do.

If no one replies before I get home later I will post it. I also changed my front sight to a slightly taller one and I like it better.

Seems like about 14 pounds per thousand is what I remember.

I want one very badly but dont have the extra coin at the moment and Im weaning myself from CC's. Been reading about them for quite a while over at the XD forums and will probably grab Alabama Holster kydex for front pocket carry. I have tried one in a front pocket of cargo style pants and it seems fine. Im not sure that it wouldnt be a bit bulgy in jeans but its not a whole lot bigger than an Iphone with a mophie case so people may just consider it a phone. Definate upgrade from a Keltec 380. The wife doesnt know it yet but I see a cut of the tax refund going this way

I may have to move this to what I like. Small victory for me. Scored a 650 toolhead and stand for $33.99 delivered. It is used and the stand is one of the older wooden ones but I just need it for a 223 sizeing die and 1200 trimmer. Of course now someone will link me to a better deal.

I have a XD tactiacal I bought from Canyon Creek as a package and I cant think of any issues. I did limp wrist it in a macth which did casue a malf. Had it for a number of years and a LOT of rounds. My 5.25 from Springer Precision with their trigger in 9. It was not !00% with MG 147s but seems to run Precision Delta 147's without issue. I have a 4" stocker for carry which has NEVER malfed with reloads or premium ammo. I want a XDs badly but dont have the spare coin for one at the moment. I dont even own a 1911 anymore. Shot a couple M&Ps and no complaints but Im all in for the XD platform.

After reading all this I have to ask when it comes to rifle cases does the LED kit shine in the case or is it shadow? Sounds like maybe. First person to find a LED mount that actually screws in the place of the powder check wins. Plus the kit for overall brightness. I have never had luck with the powder check on rifle or small pistol consistantly.

I hate trying to find used Dillon stuff on Ebay. Its crazy. I see stuff going for more than new plus shipping. Its good if your the seller.

I have to add something. My wife works for a surgeon as a first assistant and she hates when her office is behind. BUT sometimes they get caught in surgery late, or there is an emergency (remember it could be you or your family) and we all have had to wait. trust me if your self important time is worth $500 an hour his is worth far more. AND he may be saving a life. I wont defend GPs and dentists etc but consider that your MD actually has extenuating circumstances occasionaly. BUT I have met some that were genuinly asshats.

Please be sure to forward those sentiments directly to NBC and the NFL. I tried but NBC seems to have no mechanism I could find to do so. As a long time season ticket holder to the Colts I like the NFL but place blame where it belongs. Costas and the NFL idiots in charge.

Regardless of outcome its things like this that make me damn glad to only buy from know companies instead of the latest and greatest unobtainim gottahaveit companies. JP rifles seem to be blase' somewhat due to all of the new comers. Not to say there are not good ones. BUT as always a rifle made by known mfgs even the big guys like Colt deliver the goods. I have extended myself just to buy JP rifles knowing I will get what is a first rate firearm. Hope anyone left hanging gets money back. A pox on any person who takes money for a firearm and doesnt deliver.

I follow multiple forums like rifle, shotgun, multigun gear etc with daily notafications via email. And I have the non vendor brass set up for instant notafications that dont seem to work right. I see a couple today listed in non dealer brass that I got no notafication for at all. I did use the "content you follow" in my account and toggled on the instant notafication for the vendor brass and classifieds. (looking for 223 brass and some Dillon stuff for my 650 to process brass) I get the daily for all of the ones set that way but for the instant notafications I dont get any. Help please. I checked my spam and run mailwasher so I dont go to Gmail daily. I will recheck there but dont ever find them. What I really want is a way to set up custom watch lists that contain keywords with instant notafications!! Like the classifiedes with the filter word of "dillon" and in non dealer brass with the filter "223". Is this possible? And if NOT Id just be happy to get the instant part of the classifieds and non dealer brass working properly. I have missed several posts that I would have been all over if it worked correctly. What am I missing here?

I have seen a few on ARs. Trust me the timer has no problem picking them up. I really want one but bottem line is a can really doesnt suppress a 223 as much as I hoped. Not worth the $$. Unless $$ is no object. I know they are legal in IMG style rules in open. I may get a AAC SR-5 if I can scrape up the money. I have a integral .22 and its hollywood quiet like most of the rimfire stuff thats well made. Timers dont work and I wont use mine again just to not be a pain in the ass to the RO.

Thanks for the input. I am going to let the 650 do its job on tool head # 2. If I were a only loading a hundred or so Id hand prime but for most of us 3G guys its a thousand at a time.

Kent, My Firebird mags drop free, but, my factory mags are iffy. Can you post, or, email me a picture of what you are referring to be filed? Thanks! I dont have a pic at the moment. The easy way to check is to check the mag whilie empty. IF the LRBHO plunger moves in and out without rubbing on the top of the slot in the mag body you should be good to go. Check all your mags and I bet the Firebird mags are free moving. IF the LRBHO moves freely then you may have a different issue.

If the new 10 rounders are like the oem mags the reason it may not fall free is the plunger is the LRHO actuator. It is hitting the top of the slot most likely. The follower should rest on the feed lips not the LRBHO actuator. Take the mag and LIGHTLY file the mag body at the top of the slot so it moves freely when the mag is empty. Worked for mine.

Trying to buy one of these used or pretty much any Dillon stuff used at Ebay or elsewhere is a bit like finding the holy grail. At least at anything for less than 90-95% of new price.

Hate to say it but move on. My wife of 21 years will NOT shoot. However her dad commited suicide when she was a young girl so I take that into consideration. However she supports the second ammendment. She likes the fact that I have something that Im so into. She never complains when I tie up weekends shooting, helping with matches or even the occasional away game. I know other guys who have wives or girlfriends who dont/wont shoot but dont dont have any problems with it. You have a problem thats probably not going to get better. And maybe a shitload worse.

I was going to keep my stock but as I remember Firebird cant do the trigger job for some reason without replacing the stock and grip. Not sure. Adding the comp helped a bunch and I sent my barrel to a 3rd party to have the forcing cone reamed. I dont know if Firebird does this as part of the package or not. Without beating a dead horse your going to end up going to Firebird. Just gonna spend some time and money before you get to that conclusion.
