Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Went to my gunsmith who used an end mill to make the stock mount go on my belt. Also tried the QLS mount and liked that better. Seems to be holding up well under dry fire practice sessions. We shall see what it does in a match.
  2. Thanks for the suggestions. I wondered about those small screws at the top of the belt attachment. I could use a file to open up the belt attachment to allow for the 1.75" Safariland belt, but it those little screws are just going to strip out then why bother? I guess I'll just try to rig something up.
  3. It's the WSM II. http://www.bb-enterprise.biz/ecommerce/cr-speed-holsters-accessories/cr-spd-wsm-ii-hlstr-modified-glock-xd-mp.cfm
  4. I just got the Carver frame mount to run a red dot on my Glock (I know, I know, Glock bad, STI good). Anyway, I run Safariland belts, which are 1.75 inches wide. There's no way the 1.5 inch clearance on the Carver holster will work. Has anyone found/made a workaround? I can't be the only one who has wanted to do this. Thanks in advance. Sendit
  5. I'm surprised no one mentioned having him shoot suppressed when you transition from a bb gun to a firearm. It's a much friendlier introduction. Sendit
  6. Jesse it's like when your squad tells you how you should have run a stage AFTER you run a stage. Friends.
  7. I left an extended Glock mag on stage 5 on the first night if anyone found it. "GAS" is written on the side in silver sharpie. Thanks. Steve
  8. Besides the two light sticks they gave me as a shooter I put one on my cart. Easier to find! Sendit
  9. Great topic. When I was younger I used to run pointing dogs, often hunting alone with a dog or two. There are many times I can vividly recall the non-verbal communication with my dogs and how we connected with the land and the birds. We were lost in time there. We escaped the world completely. Today I still hunt occasionally, but it's tougher physically to chase chukars. A few years ago I found 3-gun and fell into the time machine you call Zen. Being in the moment, completely absorbed in what I'm doing is why I do what I do. Sendit
  10. Will we be slinging shottys or rifles at all? Also do you know if we will need slugs? Sendit
  11. I use the Safariland belt and the ELS system. I added an extra keeper out of Velcro. For "big" matches I've also put a big zip tie on when I was being paranoid.
