Along with a couple other things Im wanting to add more light over my loading bench. Its in a spare bedroom with 8' ceilings. The bench is 5' and I am not sure what way to go. Either add a couple 5" recessed lights with either CFL of standard floods directly over the bench, OR a 4' flourescent with 2 or 4 T8 bulbs. I dont want to overkill to the point of making it too bright or hot. I already have a nice arm light with magnifier, http://www.electrixtask.com/model_7426.htm but want more general lighting. Room already has another ceiling fan with light kit. What do the rest of you do?

What about using the case feeder? Yes or no?

I just started doing brass today. I use Redding NM dies. I had my first case insert to far and crushed the brass to the point it had to be drilled out. Im now not able to get the die deep enough to size enough to get the brass to fit into the JP gage. It wont easily slide in the last 1/8" or so. Any more and the neck starts to deform. IF I adjust it any lower the brass sticks and rips out of the shell holder. Im using Dillon lube. First 10 rounds are lubed in a baggie so I know they are lubed. Not overly so I think. My left over ammo using scharch brass drops in the JP and Dillon gauge fine. Having a hard time figuring out how to correctly set the depth. Done for the day. Time to go to diner and have a beer.

I don't know if this will help or not. I have a 45 tactical that came from Canyon Creek and shot it in limited uspsa and 3 gun. When the 5.25 came out I got a nine strictly for 3 gun. I made the mistake of putting a carver mount and dot on it and struggled. Near the end of last year I dumped the dot and put back in a slightly taller Dawson front sight. From what I have seen so far I like the 9 better. If I shoot that one in uspsa for fun when I'm not at a 3 gun I will probably use it with the 28 round mags regardless of putting me in open and minor as well I think. Maybe for the time being shoot which one you like and shoot better and don't sweat about the division it puts you in until you get more comfortable. I'm never gong to win the match and be a sponsored shooter so I shoot what I like and division be damned.

I ordered last month direct from Springfield and the were still pre panic prices. They sent them in a ziplock type bag instead of the hard to open package. Only took a couple weeks.

I know small rifle can be used but I'd like to hear from those who do. I would guess some of the trick guns may have issues but my uses would be for striker fired XD's in 9mm. Using stock springs and with a Springer Precision trigger job. I have plenty of small pistol for the near future but when things settle down in a few months I'd like to order more primers and just ordering CCI small rifle covers rifle and pistol maybe. So who is using small rifle for pistol??

I dont know how or why but I got my refund in my checking account pending a few minutes ago. Thats 10 days from filing. I use TurboTax and have a relatively simple return for me and the wife. Mortgage deduction and Church is our only real deductions. All of the tax BS issues aside I was shocked to see it had it my account. I figured it would be a month to 6 weeks as normal. I wont ever say anything good about the IRS but this is a pleasant supprise.

I got my order for CCI primers and TAC a few weeks back and they should be processing my order for 4K Hornady 55gr bullets tomorrow by their info on the website. And they have not jacked up prices. I have bought from them regularly in the past and I think they understand customer service is paramount to the shooting community. I was a customer for life before all the current crap but even more so now. Now if Dillon could just start shipping trimmers.

Does anyone have any info on a phone number to contact gun broker? Im dealing with a fraud issue of some Dillon items I bought in a supposed "buy it now" format and the guy did not have them. Still does not have them. I have filed a fraud case from GB a couple weeks ago and Im waiting to hear from them. I cant find any kind of phone support. Never did more business than I had to with GB but I at least expected them to have some kind of real world contact numbers.

I have two urns on my night stand and a third in the future for sure. Maybe more. Bringing home the urn is actually a sense of bringing our friend home. I pet the two of them almost daily along with the furry head in bed. It will get easier now. I have cried more over my two pets on the nightstand than I have over pretty much any person I know. I hope you get some closure now and remember the good times.

Sorry for your loss. I think most of us forget what is really important in life and get peeved at the small stuff compared to the real issues that impact our lives. I know I do sometimes. I cant say anything else that will help other than to say I hope your family finds the strength to cope.

the higher round count is part of the fun. Rifle ammo does seem to be the real issue for those who have had their head in the sand and are/were unprepared. At least keep pistol shotgun round count normal.

I am more concerned with a criminal targeting my home when I'm not there. I do discuss things and have no problem getting up close with anti types on issues. I don't think a lot of us consider enough we are potentially targets of opportunity and all the chest thumping in the world won't change that.
