Has anyone polished the bolt and chamber? If so, could you post some photos? My 930 is almost done, having a rear sight dovetail and sight installed.

The gun is spending to much time under recoil, that's why it feels strange compared to your 180's You want the slide to be snappy, which is what you get using N320 and 180, you can get the same result with a 200, but it needs a different powder. Solo 1000 works great with the 180 and works with the 230 in .45, not so with the 200

What are you trying to achive here? Ive never known anyone to trim .40 brass.

A good rule to remember. Faster powder, lighter bullet, slow powder, heavy bullet. N320 is great for 180gr N340 works for the 200 I know a couple of people who tried N310 with the 165, but N310 is risky. I just bought a 1lb of Solo 1000, it's burn rate is very close to N320, it's also $17/lb Clays is another powder for .40, start at 4.0 but load long. My OAL for all my .40 loads is 1.220 out of a 5" STI Edge

I used one of the regular dillon die nuts in place of the one that came from EGW, it installed like normal.

Any lead or molly coated bullet over time will make a mess out of any barrel, or gun for that matter. There is no reason you can't use them, as long as you load them correctly and clean your barrel/gun.

180/MG FP or JHP 4.9/N320 1.220 makes between 167-170 through my 5.0 Edge, depending on chrono and temp, however temp really doesn't affect 320 that much.

N320 is all I've ever used in .40, I'm at 4.9/1.220 with MG 180's and make 169PF out of my 5" Edge. N340 is perfect for the 200gr bullet, I have no load data, but know a couple of people who have made this their primary load. N310 with a 165 maybe, no load info. As others have said, it's a clean burning powder, also the powder is not temp sensitive, like many others. I just bought a pound of Solo 1000, have heard its burn rate is very very close to N320 and it's $17/lb.

Have the same setup, best electronic ears IMO.
