  3. Will let you guys know when our state implements a gas cap law 09/01, we'll see if it helps or hurts prices. $3.19 for regular right now Biodiesel is about .50 cheaper b
  4. Having to cross the Pacific Ocean for a major match might now be on par with those that drive, considering the cost of gas these days This year been to: Hawaii State (Open "10" ) Nationals (both) Going to: Area 2 Next year hope to do: Hawaii State (don't laugh, will be shooting Open "10" ) Nationals Georgia (Carlos' group) Area ? aloha, barry
  5. Bruce, You can check out www.internationalcartridge.com and see if this is what you're looking for. At the Nationals, I met Bob Evans and his son, he gave me some info on their product and will be trying it out. They're located in Reynoldsville, PA and their ph. no. is: (814)938-6820 They might even sell the components separately, not sure tho. I tried the Simunitions Green Shield in my G22 and they worked. Hope this helps, barry
  6. I just got the book last week and have read through most of it. Looks like keeping track of the practice sessions will help me, instead of not keeping track of them, and just going through the motions. But, I shot CM 03-12 in July and see that I am at 100% Not bad for an "A" shooter c-ya, barry
  7. $2.98 - $3.11 (reg-super) here in the islands Good thing we're on an island, can't go too far Seriously, we pay about 50cents in taxes/fees per gallon here
  8. markm, How does the 38TJ compare to 38SC? In your opinion, would it be worth the switch? (i.e. cost, working up loads...) b
  9. You need to find out what format your burner requires -/+ So far I've had good luck with both
  10. Hey D, Sounds like my kind of match (high round count) Got any pics? Never been to New Mexico, are there things to do (i.e. shopping, sightseeing)? b

  15. Bottom line is, "who" will submit a proposal to host the Nationals. Maybe you guys gotta start trying to convince your favorite range to submit a proposal I haven't been to a lot of the areas listed so, anyplace will be fine with me Aloha, barry
  16. The three STI guns I have runs with both SVI & STI mags that are untuned Got some new STI bodies in .40 and .38 before the Nationals and installed Grams format follower & spring, no feeding problems in both guns. Guess I got lucky barry
  17. App is on the way Hope to make it this year, last time there was in 2002 and 1998 before that barry
  18. A similar thing happened to me at the Open Nationals this year after given the LAMR command. Later I was reassured by the CRO that if anything like that happens in the future, take the time to re-group. Won't be a problem. Don't let it affect you too much, something new learned. Barry
  19. I'd do it again and at the same place . Really enjoyed shooting two 18 stage matches, felt like I gots my moneys worth (especially the name tag ). Where else can you shoot two 18 stage matches back to back? barry
  20. Kewl, I have the .223 plate, one less expense as I am looking to get the Starline 38TJ since I need new brass. barry
  21. Shred, What shell plate # is used for Starline 38TJ in the Dillon 550? barry
  22. The model Gugas holster advertised on the ipsc.org site says it is for the Glock only. Maybe that's why it's cheaper there.
  23. Well, Hawaii does have interstate highways (H-1; H-2; H-3) go figga. I voted for Vegas and if it's there, we're in Always concerned about flying with my guns and ammo as TSA and airline agents at each airport have different rule books? Left Maui with no problems, not even an check of the guns or ammo. 180 when I left St Louis, the airline agent made me take my ammo out and weigh it but did not inspect the guns and when I made it to TSA, they opened everything (each gun case and each box of ammo). Got home and found one of my guns was at half-cock At least they all made it home in one piece. Aloha y'all, barry
  24. When I went to register on Sunday, the surveys (they were color coded) for L/P/R and Op/L10 were scattered on the tables outside with no one informing you to fill them out. The only reason I "found" them was I noticed other shooters in line with the form in hand. Got to the registration table and found the hold up was due to shooters filling out the form when they got to the table. Shooters being "nice people" were waiting for the person ahead of them to complete their form(s). Once in awhile someone would see shooters waiting in line and ask for the completed forms then tell you to go ahead of the guy still filling out his form. Felt gipped when I paid for two (2) Nationals and only got one pin (but they did give me two shirts) and no name tag. Took about 6 days and a couple more request to receive my name tag (an expensive one at that ). barry
