Same here except my wife calls my reloading room my "Bat cave" barry I'm sure if you ask, you'll get a lot of help especially if you have food and drinks.

What about long term effects on the vehicle's parts and seals? I heard it deteriorates rubber seals faster? barry

I have both and they are the same to me. Only one has the HK stamp on it that's all. Oh, the HK one has like a "painted" finish where as the Benelli one is anodized? Both work. barry

Get the NROI training, it's worth it. We use some none NROI trained RO's and end up having inconsistent calls, wrong start commands, poor stage designs. It's on-the-job training and gets frustrating at times. Just my observations and feelings. barry

I have both. The Para P-16 (old one) is out of spec and breaking barrel links. Didn't know this until Derek (millenium custom) started to work on it. The STI is much better and no problems. Easy to find mags for them too. Prefer the STI. barry

Won't use the Federal with the headstamp of "FC". Lots of separations with this brass. Using the nickel "Federal" headastamp brass with good results. barry

Bufit, If you have the opportunity to shoot at the Nationals, go for it! It's up to you if you "have a good time and learn", I always do It doesn't matter if you are a "nube C class..." as BryanW said there are lots of C class shooters. There are also D class shooters and unclassified shooters. There are guys I shoot with who tell me they won't go to a major match because, "I didn't do well at my last match" or "I want to get better before I go to a major match"... Shooting is way more fun than watching Sign up and hope to get the chance to shoot. barry

I personally would not get another Para due to quality issues. Have a good gunsmith check it out before you buy it. barry
