Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Hi all, I would like to shoot some USPSA Single Stack Division next Year. I need to buy a holster and Mag pouches. The rules are a little unclear to me. Competition holsters of the race gun type specifically not allowed. For clarification, all retention features of the holster must be used. All holsters must fully cover the trigger when the pistol is holstered. The front of the holster may be cut no lower than ¼ inch below the ejection port. Magazine pouches should be designed for continuous daily carry and should be reasonably concealable. I outlined what I don't understand in Bold. The rules seam open to interpretation to me. I have a gift certificate from Safariland. What can I get from them that will be single Stack division legal? Thank's, Doug
  2. I know it's early, but April will come upon us quick. Does anyone know when the waiting list will open for the 2007 Single Stack Nationals. Thanks, Doug
  3. Steve, I shot that stage the same way you did. (Only I was 3 seconds slower.) I was the only one in my squad to shoot that stage this way. Doug
  4. This match was outstanding. Some of the best Stage design's that I have seen in a while. Thank you all that worked the match. Doug
  5. Do you all have any slots left for Friday? Please contact me at dpeters@portpack.com Thanks, Doug
  6. June 3rd Special Classifier Match at Castlewood. Please Note: Our June USPSA match was Previously Scheduled for June 10th, but do to a Scheduling conflict, this match will take place on Saturday June 3rd. This is going to be a Special Classifier Match. We will have Four classifiers and one very Large Field course. If you need classified or are looking to up your classification, now is your chance. If you are looking to sign up to be a USPSA member, I will have applications at the match, and your classifiers shot on June 3rd will count towards your classification. I tried to pick stages for this match which should flow at a good pace, so feel free to bring a second gun to shoot. As always, registration starts at 9:30 AM. Visit our web page to view the stages. http://www.castlewoodpistol.com/ See you at the range, Doug
  7. Looking at the match results, it says Cris Tilley shot Limited. Is that currect? Doug
  8. FYI, See below. Gentlemen, This to inform you that Area 4 will be postponed until sometime down in the fall. Unbeknown to me until just a few days ago, there are no hotel rooms in the Bossier City area on the weekend of A4. Jehovah Witness are having there national conference in Bossier on the same weekend and all the rooms are taken. I will let everyone know the new dates as soon as we can get them set. Kenneth Hicks Area 4 Director/USPSA
  9. I have about 90,000 rounds through my proSX with 105. I'm gonna give the 4756 a try though since the price of 105 is getting crazy. I may do some experamenting again with 3N38 since you can get it in 4 Pound containers, it's a little cheaper, and it makes major easily. From what I can remember of 3n38, it felt really nice, but booms and flashes bad. Doug
  10. 105 in Limited is pretty awesome. My squad thought that the match actually was just a tad easier and ran a little faster then last year. It's hard to judge though. I guess we will find out when we get the match results. Thank you PSA staff for hosting my favorite match of the year. I look forward to next year and will practice counting to ten. ps.........Bring on the Big Stick Open Division next year!!!
  11. I still think that the single stack numbers would be better at local matches if the SS classifiers counted. Doug
  12. I went out for one last practice before the psa today and wouldn't you no it, I broke a hammer strut. Better at practice then at the match. Doug
