  1. Didn't even try to get in this year . For us, overnight will take 2-3 days and no guarantee by FedEx or UPS. I'll shoot in other area matches next year, should be easier to get in barry
  2. My two lots of 7625 were spot on. I always check the chrono on new lots of powder just to be safe barry
  3. it will do no good! believe me. lynn The only good it'll be for would/might be round count barry
  4. Sounds almost like a water injection system. Would be interesting to see how it would do with just plain water instead of that special platinum bubbles mixture ba
  5. Gunny, The extractors mentioned do not indicate the angle of ejection. The angles refer to the ejection port. Early Glocks are 90 degrees and the newer ones are the 15 degree extractors. If you are looking at the ejection port from above, look at the right rear corner where the extractor is. A 90 degree extractor, which your first generation Glock would be, you will see that corner is square (hence 90 degree). Newer Glocks will be cut back 15 degree and this supposedly aids ejection. Some Glockers have had some luck by modifying their ejectors (filing; bending etc.). Try to do a search, IIRC it was talked about before. Barry
  6. What if you "borrow" a CA resident's hi-cappers? barry
  7. Hope you guys have a good time there, had to withdraw from this one but will make it to next years. Shoot safe, Barry
  8. The Rudy Project glasses have and adjustable nose piece that works for me. Barry
  9. I have revolvers but will not shoot them in USPSA/IPSC matches. I live in a 10 rd (Open/Ltd) state and whenever I get to shoot a "big" match (read that as any match outside my state), I'd want get my moneys worth of fun by shooting lotsa bullets really fast in guns I paid $$$ for. Also, travel is a substantial part of my cost so I'm in it for the fun factor too. You gotta respect a shooter who chooses to shoot in revolver class amongst those of us who shoot semi's. I admire their courage and perserverance in a sport where you can choose to shoot what you want. I don't shoot big matches for the prize table (done Area 1 and Area 2) I shoot these matches for the fun of it. Looking to shoot matches further east i.e. Texas Just my 2 pennies. Barry
  10. It is times like this where it is very very very very difficult to maintain behavior standards that are expected in this here forum! I am planning to stop laughing some time tonight... Had to do a second read on that one too Just before this one, there was the one about "....hot man on man action...." barry
  11. I got some IPSC .40 from Ivan at last years Ltd Nationals and they were 100% reliable although a little hotter (179pf) than what I usually load (168pf). Their ammo is relatively clean burning but my friend tease me that the smell reminds them of adobo If and when I shoot my Limited gun in another Nationals, I'll be sure to call Ivan for ammo. Barry

Just got back from my first trip to the Lone Star state and looking forward to going back again Found Texans (young and old) are the most respectful and courteous bunch around, next to us guys in Hawaii You Texas guys & girls should be proud of your state. Barry
  15. My Limited and L-10 guns lock back but not my Open gun. Like rishii said we shoot 10rds in everything and there are times when a working slide lock would have saved me some time. Looks like I will have to fit up a working slide lock for my Open gun when shooting 10rd mags barry
  16. Thanks for the info, looks like a nice place to stay so I made my res barry
  17. All arrangements made, just gotta load more bullets and practice not to reload after 10 shots barry
  18. welcome to our world. Its normal for us having condition 2 and 3 starts in IPSC land. We even have all magazines on the table and gun on table starts. Thats when you get a mag, load it , get another and put it in your magpouch and then start to shoot Oh that explains what I saw this past weekend shooting our state championship match. Observed one of the pinoy guys racking his slide after every reload on a stage. He wasn't a newby, was invited to go to the P.I. to shoot with some of the guys.
  19. That's good to see him back shooting. ?Why did all the stages start with the chamber empty? barry
  20. Gunsteel has a spring loaded turner which is fast. MGM ships via post office (slow boat) if shipping charges are an issue, other guys only send by air (double-triple the charges). R&R ones are very reliable. barry
  21. Well, that place turned out to be wonderful. Met lots of nice shooters there and had a great stay. We got a suite which had a kitchenette which I highly recommend. I would definitely stay there again! -Chet ditto barry
