  1. I haven't noticed any difference in newer 4lb jugs of N320. My jugs are dated Nov 2015
  2. [emoji819]️[emoji832]what he said. 3.5 to 3.7 grains OAL of 1.130 to 1.135. PF 127 to 135 depending on charge and gun. 3.5 gr @ 1.130 is a 131 PF in a G34 but 127 in an Edge. 3.7gr @ 1.135 was 135 PF in a G34 and 131 in the Edge. I settled on 3.6 gr at 1.132 OAL to use in both guns. PF 133ish in the G34 and 130ish in the Edge. [emoji6] Bayou Bullets rock! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. 135gr Bayou Bullet 3.6 grains of N320 OAL 1.135 PF 131.7 SD 8 Great load out of my Brazos STI Edge 9mm FYI. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Performed flawlessly. 147 grain Montana Gold CMJ with 3.7 grains of N320 at 1.135 OAL chronoed at 131.4. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Worked perfect. Taking it to the Area 8 ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. 147 gr flat head Bayou Bullets didn't feed well in my gun. Could just be my gun. I will try some 147 round nose too. I loaded up 300 147 gr MG CMJ with 3.7 gr N320 for the match tomorrow. OAL 1.135. [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Looking forward to the data! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I used 3.6 grains of N320 OAL 1.40 147gr MG CMJ in my STI Edge and got a SD of 6. PF was 127ish.
  9. I picked up an STI Edge 9mm. Can anyone guide me on a load using VV N320 and 147 Gr Montana Gold bullets? I have had great success with 124 Grain MG CMJ with 4.3 grains of N320 OAL 1.135, PF 130. I just have a case of 147s to use up. Thanks. My mags have spacers.
  10. Sucks when you find/feel one rattling around in the bottom of your mag.... During a stage run. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
  11. Www.mancavemachine.com Howard Levine. He does not build guns. He is a USPSA shooter and sponsors some sectionals. His gun runs flawlessly. He does all guns.... Including 1911s and 2011s. Machinist by trade. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
  12. 3.5 gr N320 at 1.135 gives me 130pf in my G34 (Bayou bullet 135 gr) Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
  13. I have one on my 1911 and my 2011. They rock. Worth the wait. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
  14. 135 gr Bayou Bullet with 3.6 grains of N320 or 147 gr Bayou Bullet with 3.3 grains of N320 OAL 1.135 for both. Should get you close to 135pf in aG34. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Get a used (but unmodified) Glock 17 and ALL the ammo you can afford. The ammo cost far outweighs almost any gun you purchase. 10,000 rounds would be a great start. After you are sure you got the bug, come back and we'll teach you how to reload your own ammo. Collect all the used range brass you can till then. Cheers!
  16. 3.2 grains of Titepoop with a 147 gr MG CMJ @1.135 makes 119 PF in my g34. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I got a Brazos HP Edge near the end of last year. No problems. Love the gun. Get their gator grip treatment also. Definitely get their tuned mags that do NOT lock the slide back. Follow their recommendations on break in. No regrets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Glock = dry and dirty 2011 = wet and dirty Clean when malfunctions occur. That is all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. You can't double your charge and expect your velocity to double.
  20. Not like you are assuming they are. You can increase the charge a little, which can increase the velocity a little, which can increase the pressure exponentially! There comes a point where velocity does not increase measurabley, but the pressure sure does. And your gun blows up!
  21. You didn't measure pressure. That is a dangerous assumption!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. None, or close to none at that OAL. That is a normal variation of OAL with mixed brass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. The powder does matter. That's why I was upset that IMR SR 7625 was discontinued. You could seriously over load and over pressure the round witb this powder...... Without blowing up your hand.
  24. Definitely not a proportional equation. Shortening the oal can exponentially increase pressure. Causing an explosion, a broken Gun, and possibly a trip to the ER!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Titepoop wasn't accurate in my G17 until my loads were close to 140 Power Factor. Then it was good to go. But screw that.
