  1. Put out an add for free beer in exchange for personalized one on one 9mm pistol reloading advice. Start drinking AFTER the learning session! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yep. It worked in practice last week. It will probably work till I am at a match! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. A decent portion of the mag catch hook is still visible when fully retracted. I am not sure filing on that piece is a good idea Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. 1180 fps is a little fast for a soft steel load. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. 147 grain bullets didn't feed well in my Edge 9mm,,, yet. I stay with 124 grain CMJs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I have both. Racers were a pain in the ass to put on the belt and had more parts to fiddle with. Ghost are clean and simple, and cheaper! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Nice Photos! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Nice photos! I want a PT grip now. I will loosen and lock tight the screw then re-evaluate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Mine is sticking at times. Doesn't matter which mags. If I press and hold the button in, the mag would not drop. When I released the button it dropped. I had one death jam, where I had to fiddle with it for a minute to get it to drop. It has become better with use, but not 100%, yet. Just wondering if anyone else had any issues?
  10. Does anyone use one of Mitchell's right side mag releases? Did it require any tinkering to get all of your mags to drop freely? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Has anyone had success working up a load for a STI Edge 9mm using 147 Grain Montana Gold CMJs with N320? I tried 3.6 Grains @ 1.135 but my PF was only 128. I am thinking about using 3.7 Grains @ 1.135. Any suggestions or thoughts? (I have used the search button.) 3.5 Grains makes 130 PF in my G34. My Edge definitely has a slower barrel compared to the G34.
  12. I giggle inside when I see good shooters wasting time jacking live rounds out of their guns during a stage runs because their bullets don't chamber. Best $$$ I ever spent next to my Dillon 650. I could sell it in 15 minutes if I ever needed to.
  13. Get a Case Pro 100 and the Lee U Die and never have a round fail the case gage again! If it does, check the case gage for dirt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. This load does chrono in my G34 at 134 PF. I will check my notebook for what it does in my STI Trojan and re think this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Has any of you forum members have a load recipe for 147 Gr Montana Gold CMJ and N320? I want to load shorter than 1.130 but I am afraid I am getting close to a compressed load using 3.6 Grains of N320. PF out of my STI Edge is only 127-128 and I want it at 130 or better. I don't want to fail Chrono stage.
  16. Bayou Bullet 135 Grain bullets don't feed reliably in my STI Edge. I appears that the side of the projectile sometimes gets hung up on the sharp edge inside the barrel that the case stops against. OAL is 1.135. The projectile is not engaging the rifling. Any suggestions? 124 Grain Montana Gold feed perfectly
  17. 1 to 2 caps of Nu Finish AND 2 cap fulls of mineral spirits (20 to 30 ml) to walnut media. Stir well and vibrate before adding brass. Best formula I ever used.
  18. If the highest classifiers scores were actually published, we could look at that data before combining any divisions. By the way, I don't see any advantage in combining any divisions. The goal is to grow the sport. The more shooters we attract, the bigger the sport becomes. Deleting divisions deletes potential shooters IMHO. If there is a financial advantage (saving a but ton of cash) to deleting a division, then we could talk about it. I am in favor of adding a pistol caliber long gun division, because I think it would attract more shooters. However, I do not want to dilute the sport. Maybe we should talk about a max number of divisions to prevent this? What problems do we actually solve by deleting or combining divisions? The biggest problem USPSA has is a marketing issue. I never knew this sport existed until I was in my mid 30s. We should be talking about how to get the word out about how much fun this is!
  19. Does the Dillon Nylon dust cover fit with the case feeder, strong mount, and powder measure on the machine?
