  1. Yvette does ducks!!! Just don't mess with them!!! Whenever you arrive on a stage and it has the rubber duckies, you know Yvette is there...and don't mess with her either! Denise I'm confused then, what was the mystery?
  2. I just noticed the rain policy . I already bought a ticket to leave Sunday. I'm sure it won't rain in April though...... .
  3. I had a great time. First time there, hopefully not the last. You guys put on a world class match. The small attention to detail did not go un-noticed by this shooter. Great job! I never found out, what was the mystery with the rubber ducks????
  4. That's cool, I guess I should beat up on it a little before I use it in a match anyway. Plenty of matches to use it in this year.
  5. Man! Did you guys pay extra to get it already or what??!! Mine didn't ship until today. I guess it's a no go for Superstition.
  6. I would suspect the bullet. There is only one way to know for sure.....
  7. Almost exclusively 7.5 or 8 birdshot. 1oz. reduced recoil slugs are a good choice. Of all the matches I've ever used buckshot (rarely), it has been 9 pellet 00. All of the above being 2 3/4" shells and either 2 3/4 or 3 dram loads. It depends on what your gun will run.
  8. So, did you keep shooting? Might as well!
  9. I'm not bashing the tubes at all. I do believe they may tighten the groups, slightly. My gun shoots the same with or without the clamp. Which largely takes the tube out of the equation altogether. I've had FOUR different tactical barrels. They all grouped to a different poa, and they all grouped pretty well. They were repeatable and consistent. I've shot hundreds of slugs testing this. What I was wondering is if anyone with the field barrels have them shoot to poa.
  10. I have a buddy who told me he read my entire review and then tex'd me a dozen questions answered in my thread. He later admitted that he only skimmed and looked at a few of the pictures. http://www.brianenos...howtopic=164730 I'm just sayin... I've read your review, I just disagree with your assessment on slug poa and the solution. The problem is in the barrel and not the mag tube.
  11. I run a champion fiber optic on my slp, its huge! Check midway.
  12. Mine runs reliably now, but that was not always the case. Maybe it needed a breakin period?
  13. Don't be surprised if lead bullets stick in your barrel and don't chamber properly.
  14. I've always been closer to .380. It's what my book had listed and I've never had an issue.
  15. I shoot a couple hundred a week. I would LOVE to be able to shoot a couple thousand a week. It just ain't in the cards for me though.
  16. Welcome. Lots of stuff for USPSA and 3gun in MO!
  17. Frustrating. And scary. I have had good dealings with Remington customer service. On the other hand, I would have been happier not needing to use them to begin with. I think you are stuck in the middle of possible several unfortunate circumstances combined to make a perfect storm for you. QC issues, no stock due to wild demand, and an unfavorable political environment making things even worse. I have confidence they will fix it, but it doesn't sound like it will be soon. Edit: They have got to be aware of barrel problems. I wonder if they could be halting things until they get a handle on it. I've had FOUR barrels and none of them shoot slugs to POA.
  18. Have they gotten any better over the years. Last time I tried them quality was low and the price was high.
  19. Come on man. As long as the target has at least 27* of lateral rotation from the shooter's 180 I call that a good hit.
  20. Mine would choke on factory ammo for the first thousand rounds or so. It would feed my longer reloads without problems. Check the dimensions on your feed lips. It may need to let the nose up just a little higher. I've got over 12k on my Edge now and it will feed the short 180 grain Speer Lawman stuff without fail now. I haven't tried any HP for a while. I may have to.
  21. In before Jesse says because it looks badass. (It does look kind of cool though.)
  22. Aside from the magazine spring tension, my VM Tactical was ridiculously stiff just getting the shell to overcome the latch. Opening up the two "half-moons" with a file reduced that a lot. A little polishing helped too.
  23. If anyone local would be willing to pick up shotgun ammo for me so I don't have to ship it, PM me please.
