  1. Paul, your getting one aren't you? I think you'll have to have two inline .45 loading machines too? heheh
  2. all I could tell you is, that "back in the day", Caspian made lots of single stack frames for Gun stores & Gunsmiths... I had some from "HO" prefix, meaning Hoffmans Gun store.
  3. I had quite a bit of brass dust with my 1050, using new brass. It became un-noticable when I started using case lube.
  4. I WOULD JUMP ON IT! that's a really good deal w/o the powder measrure & conversion kit.........
  5. My RL from when they came out,(I think I got mine in 1989!)has countless rounds, my other two, no issues for years & years.... stuff happens
  6. 9MM One of a kind officers Model, built by Dan S .45 prettied up by Jody Joseph .38 Super by Dan S
  7. I have & use both. Both are great. The biggest difference I see is the newer Mr. Bulletfeeder has a design improvement in the bullet feed die which would save it from being damaged if a taller case went through.(ie, if a .38 super case went through when loading 9MM) If your careful about sorting your brass, not an issue. You can't go wrong with either IMO
  8. Many of us have been to DQ, with no icecream! Learn from it, it is the best outcome!
  9. I go to play with 5 140's, 3 170's My basic reasoning: 5-140's 2X, multi reload classifier plus one in gun is three needed, best to have at least 1 oh $hit on the belt, not to mention barney mag or reshoot, or just got one soo full of mud......... 3-170's may have to do a 170 reload in the course of fire!, put all three on the belt to start....... (I have dropped one in the past, lousy mag pouch!) Better to have it & not need it than need it & not have it!
  10. One word, DILLON! you'll never run out............
  11. I sheared barrel lugs off at the 1990 Nationals, lucky I had a back up pistol! Over the years, I have gone to the back up several times since.(extractors break, triggers follow etc..) Well worth having two.............
  12. What's on your mind?

  13. I almost Never use search,(for fear of crashing the system) I just start a new post, and after a few scoldings, some good member will post a link to what I want to know.......
  14. well???? we called it: Mr. Bill Two Stage (comp) OOHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! you had to be there (in the 80's & 90's to get it!) Google SNL I wish I still had my .45 I built on my kitchen table with Dan's MBTS Comp kit! after that Dan built me .38 Supers & P9's ( all are still running!) Better than that, I still shoot the .38 super single stack comp gun Dan built for me in 1989. 3 years ago, he converted it back to 9MM single stack for IDPA, made Master with it............ He is still the MAN!
  15. Dan is STILL the MAN! I wonder how many still remember what the "M.B.T.S." stood for??
  16. p9's were great in the 1990's, time has past them by... just look for a used CZ, heck new ones from Angus w/action jobs,or sights are a great deal..

  18. yep, what that fella said...........
  19. and then, as Homer stood on what looked like a floating pancake, looking down on...
  20. Sadly, I just retired my 2000 jetta VR6. I bought it new in 1999. 292,000 miles No major problems. It still has the orginal clutch & orginal muffler! (the car was always garaged) The heater fan crapped out, so with the winter we are having in the NE, I had to breakdown & get another car. I just changed the oil (myself every 5000 miles), avoided potholes, never let my kids drive it, and had it serviced when called for by the manual. Most of all, I never "beat on it" This is the third Jetta I took over 240000, So, of course, I bought another one. Used, this time, 78K miles, just broken in, saved a bundle.....
  21. Matt said it well, and He sells a 90 degree mount. What is important is how fast "you find the dot"! If a 90 degree helps, you need one.......... Style points do not count, I think I remember our host trying a laser, before there were dots.... whatever wins........wins!
  22. Backordered? I am glad thay are......... What is your second choice?
