  1. I think some guys have fixed this by shimming the whole trigger assembly over to that side. Which also keeps it from moving around....
  2. The only time I've had binding like you show is when the lifter isn't going into the slot on the bottom of the carrier. The slot allows the lifter to swing in another millimeter or so. I had to tweak the lifter legs to make it line up and get in there reliably. Looking down into the loading port with the gun upside down the slot is off to one side of the carrier nearer the ejection port. Good luck getting it worked out.
  3. +1 I'm not sure how he modded his, but I just put a flat washer behind the CZ inserts. Easy Peazy
  4. Thought there might be someone interested in this auction.... clicky.....Brass Auction
  5. I'm on my second case of them through my M&P. They've worked great for me.
  6. For me, the small eye box on the Bushnell killed it, especially @ 6.5x.
  7. I was the RO and you were slapping the steel mighty quick. Again, sorry for the mix-up and glad it worked out the way it did. Thanks for letting me shoot your rifle between squads. I'm already saving the cash to put one of these on my rifle for next season. I was considering the Bushnell 1-6.5 but not after shooting that thing. I like it better than my brother's Swaro too. Asthetically, functionally and financially it just works better for me. Always thought the Z6i looked long and goofy.
  8. Be a good Dad and never miss an opportunity to spend time with the kids. My daughter is my life when I have her and we have a standing skype date three times a week. It's hard to schedule around and causes me to miss out on a lot. However, those things are quickly forgotten while my kid isn't. All the advise about keeping cool and not talking about their mother in a bad or negative light is key. Don't avoid talking about their mother though. Just reinforce that they should do what she says when they are at her house. My 5 year old knows that she has a different set of rules when she is with me. I tell her I'm sorry if she misses her mother and offer to give her a call. OTOH, her mother tells her she is being rude and gets on to her when she mentions that she misses me. It's two different worlds between here and there. I quite worrying about her Mom's drama a couple years ago and my little girl already sees the difference. She loves being at my house. Hang in there. No matter what is said about you, you are still Daddy. YOU determine what your kids think of you.
  9. If they added a descent comp and longer handguard it'd be a good base to start with.
  10. As already suggested, the Stihl trimmers are bulletproof. Husqevuarna (spelling?) also makes some excellent trimmers. They tend to be lighter than the Stihl and Echo models and also have great vibration reducing handles. Any of the commercial / professional models will be easy to start once you figure out the sequence for that specific engine.
  11. Good job big guy. So are they going to do a feature for the GA sectional?
  12. Sliding the front sight on the 930 to the rear should drop the POI. It helped me using the same barrel on my 930.
  13. The question about hobby activity is to determine what amount of income you generated. The revenue from that hobby can be offset by it's related expenses, but you aren't allowed to recognize a loss from hobby activity. This is off the top of my head. I would advise you hire a CPA for consultation.
  14. I was shooting Precision Moly 147s before I went to Bayou Bullets. They smoked considerably more and I didn't like cleaning the moly residue out of my barrel.
  15. There are two many variables loaded into that question to just pick one or the other universally. Just two that will make a difference in the answer are: major or minor scoring, what is fast, what is slow...... it all depends on the scoring, stage makeup and skill of the shooter. For a master class open shooter I'd say fast C. For a C class production shooter I'd say slow(er) A.
  16. I tend to be sensitive to smells and I haven't noticed these bullets stinking. Maybe S1K isn't hot enough to cause it.
  17. I shoot the Bayou 147s in my M&P Pro using Solo 1000 (S1K). When I first got them I loaded a few batches using Titegroup, W231, S1K, and WSF. S1K provided the lowest SD with WST close behind. TG wasn't as consistent and was dirty loaded at 130pf. It did clean up at around 135-140 pf but I'll save it for 125 FMJ loads where it works well for me. I'd say get the Bayou bullets and load them with whatever you have on hand. They will be easier to work with and cleaner than the plated bullets.
  18. Hogdon 4895 is next to TAC on some burn charts but it is an extruded powder and will not meter as well or load as easily into a .223 case. Some ball and/or small extruded powders I've used with similar results to TAC were H335 and Benchmark. Both of these are slightly quicker burning powders and have served me well pushing bullets 62gr or less. There is also 8208 XBR in this range, but I've not tried it yet. For bullets that are heavier I will use Varget. It's extruded but meters well for me. BL-C(2) and Winchester 748 are two others to consider. Neither performed as well as Varget in my rifles. The new CFE 223 looks interesting to me and I will be trying it out this week. Having problems finding TAC?
  19. Countless hours of internet training video experience....
  20. That must have something to do with the name on the ruler? What the hell is ProPump anyway? ...sounds like that ruler came out of a "male enhancement" kit. (which might explain the centimeters) I almost spit out my coffee. Nice looking gun. Good luck at Bianchi.
  21. Trust me we know.....We watched the National Championship...and it was confirmed that Louisiana boys don't play
  22. Putting the LMOS bolt carrier in a malfunctioning under-gassed upper is one way to "fix" it.
  23. I wouldn't be surprised if half the production lineup is classified as "C".
