  1. Can't over look the obvious so I'll put it on the list to recheck tonight
  2. OK, will check that out. They do wobble enough that I've caught some on the edge of the powder funnel and ruined the case. Thanks!
  3. I've noticed that my 9mm cases really wobble a lot when they are in each position. I've taken the shell plate off and cleaned everything but it is still there. Anybody else have this problem and a fix for it? Thanks.
  4. RL 550B Casefeeder: No Experience: 1.5 yrs with the 550 Usually 350-400 per hour. Slow and steady making looking into each case to check the powder drop.
  5. Ya, not so much ...... "sorry but I can’t help you in this matter. My best suggestion would be to stay in touch with Rene at Speed Shooters and let him give you an update on the status of your order." David Cupp Employee Owner | Warranty/Customer Service
  6. I just got into the precision rifle thing the last 6 months or so -- shooting a 308 out to 1,000 yds. I would load all the rifle ammo on a single stage press. The 550 will cut a lot of time off of loading your pistol ammo. The 550 is nice since it is manual indexing and you can control the speed. Once you get proficient, it will only take you an hour to hour and a half to load those 300-500 rounds at a leisurely pace. That's gotta be a lot less than doing them on a single stage.
  7. Thanks guys. I found his email and sent him a message. Now I hope he can provide some help.
  8. I had an order placed with STI for a custom serial numbered frame a little over 10 weeks ago. I've been trying to find out the status of the frame as the builder has all the other parts ready to go and this is the last piece. Anyway, to make a long story short, through numerous emails with STI, they cannot locate the frame. I have no idea if it has been produced or not. I have no idea if it is lost. SO ..... does anyone have a good contact at STI that I can talk to about this issue? Thanks!!
  9. I actually had to go up to 8.5g of HS-6 to get it to 170PF over my chrono. That load went 171 at the OH Sectional and 176PF at the VA Sectional. Same batch of ammo, two days apart. The chrono is voodoo
  10. I get blamed for everything! LOL! Oops, I meant SEV!!! Corrected
  11. Shot two local matches this weekend ... Saturday at Circleville and Sunday at Pardoe in Western PA. Circleville: Another good match by the crew there. Definitely worth the 2.5 hour drive month after month. I had high expectations (too high!!) coming into this match even though I had not shot in two weeks and only picked up my gun to dry fire for 10 minutes the night before. Anyway, missed a bunch of shots on steel for the day. Probably 10-12 misses on steel but I'll confirm that once I get the videos. Got down on myself early for misses on the steel and it impacted me the rest of the day. Like my signature line says, "have the visual patience to aim" ... I didn't have that Saturday. Another area that I noticed by looking at the stats .... I shot 76 A's (63%), 40 C's (33%) , and 5 D's(4%). Chris Keen had 15 less B/C's and 2 less D's. So not only does he shoot much faster but was a lot more accurate. Again, I'll go back to patience. Bottom line: 7th out of 14 in Open and 8th out of 47 overall. PS: I hope everyone enjoyed stage 5, if you didn't it's SLM'sSEV's fault Pardoe: The results are not posted on this match but I felt a lot more comfortable during the match and had fun. I actually had the patience during the match and it showed. Went 1 for 1 on all 25 pieces of steel for the whole match ... one stage had 20 pieces alone of various sizes and shapes. Stage 2 had 5 poppers that I just remember putting the dot on the steel and pulling the trigger, didn't wait to see it start to move or listen for the ding, I was on to the next popper. Did that 5x in a row and never had a doubt that they all were laying on the ground when I was finished with the stage. Cool feeling. Shot the classifier in 76.6% if I have the numbers right in CmCalc. 99-08 Melody Line. If it holds, it will be my first classifier in the the 70's and depending on when it gets entered will more than likely push me into B class.
  12. Time lapse video of moving the shuttle to the launch pad and the actual launch. We won't see this again after next year. http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=KZrFC988Thc
  13. First time shooting this one today ... Open ..... 7.57 sec .... 58 pts .... 76.6% (according to CM Calc) First classifier in the 70's
  14. This is a great idea. I have Steve Anderson's book as well that I need to get into and follow. Not sure how much I'll shoot in June and missing A5 I'll need to keep to a practice schedule. Best of luck to you! Keep the desire and 30 days will go by fast. I think I need to join you in this commitment.
  15. You should have figured that out after spending a day with us at the OH match
  16. It doesn't matter. It'll be on a beach anyway The beach is my happy place that I visit before each stage. It calms me
  17. So the real question is .... which classifier are we shooting this weekend?
  18. Thanks. I definitely enjoyed reading your write up after the class. I tried to get into that class in IN but it was full.
  19. PapaJoe - you have room in your trunk right? We can leave him at the first pancake breakfast that we pass on the way down.
  20. I would keep an eye on this section ..... http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showforum=116
  21. I am taking a class with Manny Bragg in July, really looking forward to those two days.
  22. I saw Pirates in IMAX 3D last weekend and found it to be good in 3D. The first movie I saw in IMAX 3D was Sanctum and it wasn't worth it in 3D but Pirates on the other hand was. The movie itself was different than the other 3, different in a good way though. I think there was a different director for this movie vs the others??? Anyway, if you like Pirates, you'll enjoy this movie.
