I would try and figure out the exact size first. Maybe a quick call to the manufacturer? If you are paying to have the barrel turned down why not have them match up perfect so it looks like one piece.
Why would you think that he would "leave someone hanging" just because it is a small operation. I would imagine that Mr. Drazy and a few others started out the same way.

I would guess it depends alot on the person working. The lady that I dealt with didn't appear to be very cheerful.
Things remembered has a policy that they will not do anything gun related. (ask me how I know) whether the person working follows that policy is another thing, but they wouldn't touch them in my case. A local trophy shop did them no problem though.
This may not help, but my duty belt from TDL came with this buckle included. You can contact them and see if they would sell you the buckle alone, or at least find out where they get them from.

They have plenty of models w/o rails on them that are much better suited for the competition world. This gun is made with a different intended purpose.

I have the Arredondo release on my wides gun. It is angled up at the 2:00 position. She has small hands and has no trouble manipulating it w/o changing her grip.
Speaking of Bayou Bullets, I see the website says that it is closed until further notice. Any info on when they will be available again?
I sent him an e-mail in early January and he said to check with him in early March and he may be back online.
Thanks for the info
