  1. There is a 34 open gun in the classifieds right now.
  2. Unless you want it to be a hot rod open gun or limited gun with slide lightening and such I would look into DIY gunsmithing. There are plenty of tutorials and YouTube instructionals showing most everything on how to do glock basics. Although the names listed above are top notch either way.
  3. I realize that every gun will be different, but I am just looking for a starting point since I have never loaded 69gr SMK's before. I have 2230 and Varget available. Someone throw me a bone here.
  4. What FPS seem to work best for the 69gr SMK loads?
  5. For the guys who are using the 69 and 77 grain SMK or similar for the long range stuff, are you handloading them or buying match ammo from BH, AA, etc?
  6. Does anyone use different ammo for various stages of a multigun match? Example being for a close up hoser stage using cheaper stuff or reloads vs. a long range stage using some good match grade ammo.
  7. Wiping away the tears.....That is funny stuff.
  8. Not sure if you are looking to see If the post office has a policy on this? My experience has been the same as listed previous and they have never attempted to deliver it. On a side note there was a case from MG that I picked up and I am not sure how it was still holding the bullets inside. That was my first impression that the PO does not appear to have any care or desire for heavy flat rate boxes!
  9. I can't get anything from any of them? Anyone having any luck. Add that it is probably a good thing, otherwise I would be stuck in front of the computer all damn day watching 3gun
  10. Sounds like you have it pretty well covered. New trigger is about the only thing that you would really want to do. Pmag with NC extension and start shooting!
  11. I think that both need to have a little tweeking done. My vote is for 3GN, but like said several times, more shooting!
  12. I finally broke down and rented it over the holiday weekend. Though I knew what I was getting into after reading this thread, I figured I'd roll with it anyway. I am with the majority here that it was a decent action flick, with some disappointment from the huge named stars of the past few decades. The one thing that did come to mind was thinking about the bulk quantities of bengay they must have had on hand for those guys...
  13. If you want an easy to find reticle, the trijicon triangle is your best bet.
  14. Anyone tried the Hornady Auto Charge. I searched and didn't find anything. Reviews seem to be positive and it is over $100 cheaper than the RCBS.
  15. Too bad for you...but good for us!
  16. Two is one, one is none.......Always have a back up, and sometimes have a back up for the back up.
  17. I had him do the same for me. Turn around was less than 3 weeks including shipping time both ways. It is fantastic!!!
  18. If you plan on running open go with the large comp, or the tank break (JP recoil eliminator). The XL handgaurd is somewhat of a personal preference item. My opinion it is better to go too long then too short. If it is too long you just move your hand back to where it is comfortable and deal with extra weight. Too short and you may not have the proper grip, depending on how long your arms are and how you shoulder your rifle.
  19. LAR also makes an ambi, with the charging handle on both sides. I called them and asked some questions. I was told that both handles just thread in and can be removed. So buying the ambi would allow right side, left side, or both.
