  1. Very well produced ..and I believe that was the first part of the shooters being followed. I think that the future episodes will continue following them on preperation for the steel challenge and exhibition shooting and archery etc. And be much more in depth
  2. ...... I mean is there really a real world application for one man clearing 10-15 hostiles from a stage with a shotgun, rifle and a pistol? Sure there is..you could get a role in the new Rambo movie
  3. You want to get it real close outside of the press first with a case that's filled.
  4. Check out patrick flanigans edition. Lots of similar components except it has longer capacity and longer barrel. http://patrickflanigan.com/rhythmgun.html
  5. I would just pick one of the powders. find the data from the powders website with one of the bullet weights you have and start working up a load. Start with the low end of suggested grains and work your way up to the mid range area. Then go test those out and go from there
  6. Make sure u try to get in there with a small screwdriver and a swab...the extractor can get gummed up pretty quick and is hard to see all the dirt till you pry it out a little. I use a cotten patch and wedge it in there with a fairly small screwdriver. I have 9000 rnds of reloads thru mine with the original extractor still working fine.
  7. I also take my thumb to rear of cartridge and push nose of bullet into my wooden work bench. Then I check OAL to see if it has changed.
  8. Ding, ding, ding....we have a winner! Ditto x2 Something to consider. But I can get a brand new SLP Mark I for around $600. So if it checks out that model number is a VR model that would be perfect. I had my Mossberg 930 out to day, put 100 rounds though it and it performed flawless while firing. It's just got some weird quirks when it comes to loading the first round from a full mag tube (stock or nordic extension) and ejecting rounds cleanly. What kind of problems are you having with the 930?
  9. I assume they're on edge to make accidental ignition during shipping less likely. Probably makes packaging more space efficient too. What's the big deal? Getting them "right side up" is what the flip tray is for. Just curious, what the big idea was behind it?
  10. I just switched to federal because I got a deal on a case. They are much more difficult, where the win you just slide out box and flip. Not sure why fed loads there primers this way.
  11. Bumped this up for people interested in dans work
  12. The minutes show NO vote, yay or nay from the Area 8 director. What's up with that? Been trying to find this out myself.
  13. Burwell gunsmithing in the vendor area look at my thread "m&p back from burwell" for pics and a video of the trigger
  14. it is legal to extend it, as long as surface of hitting area is not larger then OEM Edit: and is offered by factory
  15. Here's a simple fix 3# trigger for all divisions, except guns with thumb safeties ..
  16. Current totals 94 disagree 28 approve of decision ... of people that shoot production.. Merry Christmas
  17. ..... From listening to the former pres speak at a uspsa meeting held in Oklahoma one year at nat'ls, he wanted production div to be a limited time div. You could only shoot it for a couple of years or something like that, then you had to move into other divisions. MLM With that type of thinking how would anyone ever be a gm in production? Maybe for people with money to blow, it is a stepping stone division, but I don't ever see myself shooting any other division.
  18. Im pretty sure mine is around 3.5# , and im still not ok with the decision. Next time maybe they think 5# is where it should be. Then what will you think?
  19. The only thing I hear new shooters ask is, "where can I go to get my trigger improved because this stock trigger is horrible "
  20. Anyone on the BOD think about the guy that can just afford to get in uspsa with a 500 dollar gun. And then every once in awhile maybe can afford some tweaking to that gun. Not everyone has cash flowing out there .... I for one know there will never be a three thousand dollar handgun under my tree. So I will always be racing my mommies car
