  1. I'm looking for bullets to feed my open gun and heard Rush Int'l bullets were good: https://www121.hway.net/rushus/html/products/bullets.html Any opinions on the bullets? How about Rush Int'l customer service? I e-mailed them last week for a shipping quote and still no response, and there is not a phone number listed on their website. Thanks!
  2. I have to concur with Steve. As a general rule, folks definetly spend too much time worrying about the latest gadget and not enough time practicing.
  3. Thanks everyone, I can't wait to get the new classification card in the mail! Ron, Thanks! I was totally in the zone for that stage, and ironically it was the first stage of the classifier match so I was cold; plus I typically suck at weak hand, stemming from a mental barrier/lack of confidence. I wish I could repeat that performance on demand!
  4. TDean, In my burst of excitement I failed to congratulate you, so congrads, that is a phenomenal accomplishment.
  5. Looks like I made Master in Lim-10, what a great way to end a season

  7. I just purchased a Caspian 38 Supercomp open gun (it's being shipped today from Texas so I still don't have it) that comes with 4 Caspian hi-cap pre-ban mags already fitted with EGW extended basepads. Judging from Caspian's website, stock mags hold 19 rounds, and I read somewhere that EGW's pads bring capacity up to 20 rnds, is that correct? I see nothing on EGW's website to confirm this. And Steve Anderson mentioned a 21 and a 20 rnd mag.... Steve also mentioned a 27 rnd mag, must be a 170mm. My question is how rare are these, and if they're incredibly rare, is it possible to cut and weld two 140mm pre-bans together to create a 170? Please kindly let me know if this is in violation of a law, but I wouldn't think so since they are pre-ban mags. About the only informative thread concerning this topic is this: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4139&hl= Someone please enlighten me. Steve?
  8. You may need to whack very hard and multiple times. That didn't come out right....
  9. Sorry about that blue edge, I musta hit a wrong number in Excel...
  10. It doesn't take long for the little girls to win over Daddy. Little girls are just that; little boys are men in training.
  11. I had EGW install the Weigand unit on a S&W 66 that I hope to use for IDPA someday. The Weigand part is sweet, very crisp serrations on the back and the sight picture is primo. I haven't had any elevation issues as phara did, but to be honest I test fired my gun with 38 Special loads and haven't tried any magnums through it. One of my concerns was the strength & rigidity of the part as installed, but all concerns are now gone: the part is rock solid in the S&W housing.

  13. FYI: When I put that part of my S&W 686 I was accidentally unlocking the cylinder with my right thumb in recoil.

  15. That's what I did...EGW built a singletstack 40 for me and it was a piece of cake for them to fit a second barrel in 10mm.
  16. Had some time at the range today so I tested this phenomena. Two targets, about 5-6' apart, at 7 yards. Doing 1 transition 1 I was steady at 0.33-0.34 transitions, went to 2 transition 2 and I was solid at 0.24 transitions. Didn't have time to try it at longer distances....
