  1. I've used 220's in my Glock 35 - talk about soft!!!
  2. My tungsten rod weighs one ounce more than a steel one. Guessin' a guy needs to hit the weight room if that extra ounce becomes problematic!
  3. Been using the same Tungsten guide rod in a variety of SVI/STI pistols for over ten years - ain't broke yet after tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of rounds!
  4. Should be a piece of cake for you on a concrete slab with the larger scraper!
  5. That's a Limcat Turbo-comp on it, might contact Johnny to see if he was the builder. I know he did a lot of Accu-rails on his builds a few years back.
  6. Ask for some video of the pistol in action.
  7. Thanks Mark! We'll give it a go soon at one of our Cody matches.
  8. Hey Mark - what was the hit factor on this stage? How many zeroed it? Thanks, looks like fun!
  9. Are you using mag extensions like Taylor Freelance/Dawson/etc?
  10. I don't believe he will install them, he just sells 'em.
  11. Looks good! I did mine with a hammer & punch - looks almost that good!
  12. Typically our first two matches of the year are held hostage by high winds, so they aren't too complex. By May we ratchet things up then June through October they are outstanding. Our web site is: www.codyactionshooters.com and stages from last year and so far this year are posted. There are also a few videos as well; our camera man is headed to Area 1 right now so the videos from our latest match aren't posted yet. There is camping at the range for a $10 fee. Additionally there is a precision/tactical rifle match that I shoot on the first Saturday of the month that precedes our first Sunday of the month USPSA match. I've got a couple o' awesome stages for June and they should be posted by the 24th. Let me know if you're coming and I'll make certain you get the stages by then.
  13. Are you kiddin'? They are freaking AWESOME!!!!!!
  14. Don't let Mark fool you, he is an awesome shooter and finishes near the top of the score sheet every time! We're all gonna be trembling after he gets his gear squared away!!! Welcome aboard young fella! Rich
  15. I'm pretty certain 9x19 was never banned, BUT, the cartridge overall length had to be 1.260 to be legal for major which pretty much precluded using light(er) bullets. Paul Miller out of western Colorado shot 9x19 exclusively with 160 gr. cast bullets in the early-mid 90's.
  16. Looks to me like a guy could get one more loading out of them before running into real problems!
  17. From Clymers website: Sometimes called “freebore reamers”, throaters are used to extend the throat of a chamber in order to give more clearance around the bullet. Wonder if they do that just to bamboozle the beginners? :-)
  18. Ahhhhhhhhhhh....I see now! Thanks for clearing that up for me. And I'll gladly take those stamps - I'm one page away from that toaster oven! Is the range in that bowl on 93 as you head up to Hailey from Twin? I remember somebody trying one there maybe 20 years ago, sure hope it takes off this time! See ya one o' these days!
  19. What does "Their inaugural USPSA Points match" mean? Is this some kind of special deal, like "trading stamps" back in the day? Are the "points" redeemable for merchandise or???
