  1. I will help back the camera work for A5. Live fire practice today with uncle Gary. He was somewhat impressed.
  2. I'm going to A5 with you. That should be an inspiration. I have to find my gun and gear though, before Thursday.

    Wife's b'day

You're not going to use good cases, right?
  4. No remedy required. What you have is the bottle neck look and that is the way it should be. It does a couple of good things for you like no worries about bullet setback and it insures that the round will fit the chamber. Any other dies you use will give you the same effect.
  5. I loaded BE for a while and could make major with 4.4 to 4.6 at 1.242 OAL. Need to work up to that with a chrono. There are better choices out there and I switched to 4.3 Clays at same OAL and never looked back.
  6. Nice looking light but, it is not available from the web store and they don't have a store anywhere near Kansas City.
  7. Yes I know, but, it was awfully quiet on the ride home...
  8. Culture shock! Do you have an interpreter? Nice weather though.
  9. Sorry, cannot abandon successful technique. I've even been working on a stage design that will play into this unique advantage. I'm calling it "Gator Trap". You should think about it for the section match.
  10. Won't be long now and I'll be able to shoot over at Silver Creek. That's just a hop skip and a jump from Evansville.
  11. They have also become infamous for foreclosing on deployed soldiers.
  12. I've loaded Zero 115 gr JHP @ 1.145 and MG 115 gr JHP @ 1.150 and they were not compressed. Pretty close but no problems. Loads are from 8.5 - 8.7 gr of Silhoutte. I also load the same bullets with HS-6, same OAL and around 8.8 - 8.9 gr.
  13. Not sure I am traveling with that bunch yet. They don't bathe during the winter months. Hey!!! I was thinking more Jake and Black Barry. They even share clothing on occasion. Just foundation garments...
  14. Thanks Brian, I forgot about the cookies. Got to write that down. I access the forum from my phone more often than not and you don't see cookies on that little screen. Anymore, if I can't see it, there is little chance that I will remember it...
  15. That's my favorite part as well. One of my best stages and I have to give credit to the fancy, if somewhat unorthodox, footwork. I took no pleasure from wounding Jackie. I just wonder what the future holds for me, moving back to Indiana and all...? I'll certainly get to shoot with the kids more often. I'm sure that will be a good thing.
  16. I'm still not receiving any notifications for watched forums. I reset everything a couple days ago and no improvement. I've turned everything off for now and I'll let that sit for awhile and then try another reset.
  17. Anybody not receiving email notifications? Haven't received anything for the last couple of days.
  18. This is cause concern. It could be the beginning of the end, or a full blown conspiracy. A trap using reverse intelligence?
  19. I work with the electronic scale and check it with the BB. I've scapped 2 electronic scales, on my 3rd now, and my Ohaus has been weighing accurate charges since 1968. If there is ever a question about weight the Ohaus always gives the right answer.
  20. Pull the handle down about half way, move the white plastic piece into position and raise the handle. It will pop into place.
  21. I have loaded quite a few rounds of pistol and rifle with powder that is over 30+ years old. If stored properly it will last a very long time. I also find it is better to use reloading manuals from about the same time as the manufacture of the powder. Have some primers also from the early 80's and they are also fine.
  22. A better way to state this position for me is, I will reload my 9 major brass..., if somebody else picks it up and gives it to me. I realize that 9mm major brass has a limited life, but I don't believe that thinking the brass is bad once it's been shot is the reason that many shooters leave it lay. I think it's because it's cheap and plentiful. I shot a Steel Challenge match yesterday and most of the 9mm shooters weren't picking up brass. For our 9's I've always had a preference for WIN brass. It's always been really consistent for me.
  23. Slight thread drift... Do any of you Solo 1000 users know if lot 1877 is fast or slow? I've been wanting to try this powder in 9 & 40 for a long time. Got lots of data scribbled down but, don't know if I have a slow or fast batch on hand.
