I saw Jeff on stage 10. He told me his problem and I knew right away he was dehydrated....badly. If you aren't peeing every stage, you aren't drinking enough.

I really like shooting 1, 2, 4, 3, S. It just feels more consistent to me and I like accelerating into the stop plate. Of course the key is to really see your dot or sight in the center of the rectangle every time. I've scored sub 8 in open every time I've shot it so far.

Hey James, I definetely plan on making it out there this year. That is one of the reasons I set up a steel league in my own backyard and set up / shoot it weekly.

If you are shooting Open, black out the front of your c-more and take bets on shooting a stage. This only works if you are same hand - eye dominance though.

Well first off....It was a good fight and I'm pretty glad Gracie got stomped. I have no respect for someone who literally breaks some dude's arm after he had been tapping for about 5 seconds. I don't see Hughes as being cocky at all. I see him as someone who puts the work in day in and day out and know his abilities. Basically I agree exactly with what DP said. That Diego Sanchez fight was a freakin joke. The last 2 minutes when Diego was on the other guy's back - if the other guy wasn't such a bonehead he could have submitted him in about 2 seconds. I was literally screaming at the TV "Turn his hand palm up and then pull down till he shits his pants." All in all it was a pretty good night.

Honestly I haven't seen a fighter besides Cro Cop who could even come close to hacking it with Fedor. The closest person in the UFC would be Rich Franklin but I think even he would get obliterated.

Fedor is just the baddest mamma jamma I've ever seen.

I have all the respect in the world for Royce, but I just don't think he is well rounded enough to survive in MMA today. I could be wrong but I really think Matt is going to walk away with it.

Set this up in our local steel match last Tuesday. I think I've settled on 2, 1, 5, 4, S. It actually worked pretty good. Average was a 2.7. Think I could easily get an average of 2.4 or 2.5 with a little practice. The danger plate is the #1 plate. You want to get off of it real fast to transition all the way to the other side of the stage.

Dave, My motivation was that I had told myself I would do it. Becoming a liar in my own eyes was enough to keep me going. After all, my first commandment states: You don't have to like it - you just have to do it.

I would start working around 10 or 11....so it was about 13 hours a day. Most of it was spent helping my Father with his work. After 8 months I literally went to bed Thursday night and didn't wake up until Saturday morning. That was about the time I figured that I had enough.

For 8 months my schedule was to wake up at 8, work out. Go to work until midnight and then dry fire from midnight to 4 AM. 7 days a week. Basically it was the only time I had available and I had to lose some sleep if I ever had a hope of accomplishing the goals that I had set for myself.

I believe he is because he is the only person today that calls every shot perfectly with iron sights.

Alright guys the first steel match is in about 4 hours and of course it is raining. This is an announcement for the future: This is not a fair weather sport. Crappy weather happens - especially in Michigan. We WILL be shooting in all reasonable weather conditions. In other words - as long as the range has not been obliterated by a natural disaster we will be shooting.

+1 to tls. I am for whatever will be good for the sport. Full stop. End of story. People getting stuck in their own dogma and being unwilling to compromise or even to have an open mind will be this sport's downfall.
