  1. Got your friend request last night Dave. Now I'm going to have to go buy COD:BO so I can game with you guys Great article BTW!
  2. I know my answer for this, and it may or may not be the "correct" way of doing it, but when you are watching the front sight rise and fall after the shot should you be literally be tracking the front sight up and down (eyes follow the front sight up and down with a clear vision of the front sight), or do most of you keep your eyes focused on where the front sight was last before rising and catch it on its way back to your normal POA (using peripheral vision to track it up and down)? Hopefully that made sense
  3. Careful with the link, my antivirus detected malware on it What i did get to read was pretty funny though!
  4. 4.5gr Solo1000 with a BBI 180TC at 1.130 gives me about 170 PF out of my 6.5" 610.
  5. Not to turn this into a rules discussion, but I was under the impression you could not specifically limit magazine capacity.... 8.1.4 Unless complying with a Division requirement (see Appendix D), a competitor must not be restricted on the number of rounds to be loaded or reloaded in a handgun. Written stage briefings may only stipulate when the handgun is to be loaded or when mandatory reloads are required (when permitted under Rules 1.1.5.1 and 1.1.5.2).
  6. my gamertag is KyroWebs, and I'll be adding some of the guys above I'm a fanboy of the Xbox myself. We don't have cable but with the mediacenter capability we use our computer as the DVR (broadcast channels only), ESPN360 is free as long as your IP carries it, and netflix for $9/month for the rest. Hell my wife uses it more than I do! As far as first person shooters, I've gotta put a plug in for Battlefield BC2, but this is coming from a guy that doesn't have Black Ops.........yet.
  7. I'd like to get one just for the "different" factor. I think they are kind of cool looking. Word has it that they announced at SHOT some sort of factory trigger upgrade that eases the DA pull quite a bit. I'm still not sure if the complicated internals would hold up to the rigors of our sport though. Not to mention, a reloading error could likely cost you a finger or two
  8. Best of luck guys, go get 'em! And Doug, I hope to run into you one of these days. You are a true supporter of the sport.
  9. Without a doubt get in touch with Carmoney.....He's been nothing but awesome with helping me get started with a revolver. How about we work to make 2011 the year of the Revo in Iowa?
  10. Yes, they are the same frame.
  11. I just bought a Carmonized 610 from a forum member about a month ago and got everything else from Bob. After 3 matches with it, I'm hooked It didn't take long to figure out that revolver vendors are a great group of guys to deal with.
  12. I'm not sure if he is a member on the board, but I'd like to give a big thanks to Tom at TK Custom. After a small mix-up with my order he personally made sure that I got my order before this weekend, even paying for upgraded shipping cost out of his pocket. I can't recommend his business any more
  13. Where the CR might be overkill for production, I don't necessarily think it would be a bad thing to buy. I use the DAA pouches for production, but my reasoning was that I wouldn't have to buy new mag pouches later when I decided to play in limited or L10.
  14. Cool vid and some nice shootin'
  15. Hate these things. Blew a fuse last night and had to reset the alarm clock. When I wake up this morning to the alarm, I find out I forgot to set the time zone before I went to bed..... I woke up two hours later than I wanted and didn't get to go shoot
  16. Does anyone know the inside diameter of hearthco .40 moons? I've got a new revo on the way and I'm way too impatient to wait until it arrives before I order a moon clip holder! Also, how much play should there be between the posts and moons(how much to turn the posts down)?
  17. Wow, I was just going to ask that same question.....
  18. Looks great Curt! I'm sure I'll be drooling at our next match
  19. Been there, done that Now, I NEVER put a mag back onto my belt unless I top it off first.
  20. Ryan, I know the club you are talking about, and I think the heart of the problem is the end-of-season points awards. If the club can change to recognize winners in each division, instead of open and non-open, I think you could eliminate that problem. Or just bump them all to open and have them learn the hard way
