  1. Nevermind, figured it out. Found a note on CZ USA that the 10rd mags take the same springs as the Standard Capacity ones. http://shop.cz-usa.com/P-0420075084/Magazine-Spring-758597.aspx
  2. Hi all, I'm trying to figure out the correct replacement springs for the cz75 9mm 10rd magazines. I didn't see them on cz custom or USA. Although, i may have just missed them. Thanks in advance for your help. Steve
  3. Hi, I also use the MG 124gr JHPs in my shadow. I am running an OAL of about 1.085-1.090 and haven't had any problems. Good luck, Steve
  4. Are you asking about the factory SP-01 Shadow, or the CZ custom version? I am not sure on the factory, but the CZ custom is a 11lb recoil spring and a 13lb mainspring.
  5. I think i got in on some 124 jhps. Got a confirmation, so we shall see.
  6. I mount the barrel in the vise, use a 3/32 or 1/8 end mill to plunge cut the hole, testing the pin for fit before removing it from the fixture. Make sure you don't drill too close to the bore. Drop in a small piece of drill rod and weld a quick bead over the pin. Dremmel weld flush as needed.
  7. Definitely open to non members. All uspsa matches are generally open to non club members.
  8. I'm sure there are some fun matches around, however i am mostly familiar with just the uspsa stuff. there is a steel challenge match next Sunday at new Bedford, my home club, but i won't be there. Steel challenge is a great way to get your feet wet. No movement really, and if you aren't comfortable drawing from a holster, you can start from the low ready. Most important thing is just be safe. You can pick up the rest along the way. Steve
  9. Hi, Where in mass are you located? Check out uspsa-ne.org to find local uspsa matches. Bring that shadow out and shoot some production. Steve
  10. I ordered a 650 in 9mm with case feeder and some other stuff on Monday the 11th. Got a FedEx tracking number yesterday, but i think it is just for the press. 1 package at about 35lbs. Steve
  11. Riiight.... I've seen the video evidence to the contrary.
  12. Nah... There is always tomorrow. With you doing all this dry fire, i am going to have to step mine up if i want to kick your butt this season.
  13. So Dave, With the extended FP what primers are reliable with an 8.5# spring? Not Dave, but I've only had 100% reliability with federal. My guns are set up with cgw extended firing pins, reduced power fp springs, and the 8.5lb main spring. Good luck, Steve
  14. You can fax an order in as well. I faxed last Monday, got the tracking on Thursday and saw some movement on the package yesterday. 124gr jhp.
  15. You'll love the cr speeds. Toughest part about switching is finding the extra spacers after you've had the pouches for a few years setup for something else. Next stop, doh holster. On second thought, forget all this. I need all the advantage i can get.
  16. Same here, except i use the ready tactical doh holster instead of the blade tech. I am shooting an sp01 shadow though. Good luck, Steve

    CGW Mainspring Life

Hi all, I was wondering how often folks here are changing out their reduced power mainsprings? I am currently running a CGG 8.5lb spring and have not had any issue with light strikes using federal primers. My springs are new, but i wanted to get an idea of how often I can expect to change them. Thanks in advance, Steve
  18. I just thought I would share this: I won some CR speed mag carriers and a belt at area 7 last year. I didn't need them at the time, so I gave them to the Mrs who was starting to show some interest in shooting. At the time, she was shooting a borrowed open gun, so she was using the stock STI spacers in the versa pouches. Fast forward to this year: We just got her a SP-01 shadow to shoot some production with. I went to install the spacers for the CZ mags, only to find that I had lost one. I emailed Tazio at CR Speed asking if I could purchase one as I had lost it. Instead of offering to sell one, he emailed and said he was shipping out 2 for me free of charge. This has been the 2nd excellent dealing with CR Speed customer service. These are the reasons that I will continually use CR speed products and reccomend them without hesitation to anyone that asks. Steve
  19. I am from north Easton. shoot me a pm when you get your press. I'll be glad to give you a hand. Steve Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  20. I have a grams-tuned tube that is trimmed like the 170 shown. Mine also has witness holes drilled on the back. Are yours tuned possibly?
  21. Looks like it has the Millennium Custom Logo on the side too...
  22. You guys are getting some products confused. The green thread locker, 290 is a penetrating product designed for use after threaded parts are assembled. shouldn't be super difficult to disassemble. Works well. Retaining compounds are a whole different sorry. These are also green, but their numbers are all in the 600's. These are designed for holding lose bearings in place and are very strong: as in, get the blue wrench out to disassemble. Probably no place that you need retaining compound on a pistol . 23. Yes, it has to go UPS or fedex. Definitely check out american shooters. Great place that was very helpful last year. Steve
