  1. I've been using firefox for the last 5-6 years. Absolutely love it. However, I still find a website every so often that doesn't quite work exactly as planned with firefox. Steve
  2. Ahh, cool. I was just curious. Welcome to the forum. Tons of good knowledge and people here!! Steve
  3. Are you originally from Boston? I live just south of there. Steve
  4. Spikes LPKs are made by DPMS if I recall correctly. Some folks have good things to say about them, while others avoid them like the plague. As you said, as long as the parts are in spec, should be good to go. I have an AR build on a spikes lower with a RRA standard lpk. Went together just fine and runs well. Good luck, Steve
  5. Glad to hear your levels are coming down. Hope you are back to matches soon! SP

Awesome pics Paul! That is definitely the most dramatic muzzle/comp/cone flash that I have seen. See you next Sunday in Boston. I'll have to bring the camera again and see if I can snap some good ones. Steve
  7. I believe that the 121s are designed for IPSC open shooters who aren't allowed to use 115gr bullets to make major with. IPSC requires a 120gr minimum bullet weight for major.
  8. My 1st was a Sig P229 9mm almost 3 years ago. I was 24 at the time. I still have it, but unfortunately don't shoot it all that often. Steve
  9. Looks like it will be August 4-9th at Pathfinder in Fulton, NY.
  10. I believe you are good to go for production, as long as the additional components don't add more than 2oz of weight over stock. Steve
  11. Good call Duane....I wasn't even thinking about the "larger frame mag in small frame gun" situation. Steve
  12. I wonder if the shoulder acts as a depth stop to prevent over-insertion? I'll have to go take a look. Edit: It appears that the step on the left rear does stop on a molded-in part inside the frame. No idea why old ones had steps on both sides. SP
  13. Having trouble on your limited minor reloads?
  14. I don't know about USPSA calenders, but I got the 2010 Dillon calendar set for my office a couple weeks ago.... Steve
  15. Does anyone have any info on this year's Area 7 match yet? It seems like most of the other area matches have been announced, leaving us New England folks wondering when/where the match up our way is going to be. Steve
  16. I started this year (my first season) with the M&P, but soon switched to a G17.... The glock just seemed to work better for me. In august I moved up to a G34 and am keeping the G17 as backup.
  17. +1 Excellent article!!! Hope you continue to contribute in the future. Steve
  18. I believe it's aluminum...they could anodize it blue.
  19. Hi All, I might be interested in trying Ramshot Zip for my 124gr production loads. Does anyone here do this? I have seen a lot of mention of zip with 147's, but not much about the 124's. I currently use W231. Zip is listed right next to 231 on the burn rate charts, so I would think that I could work up a new load with minimal trouble. Thanks in advance for your assistance! Steve
  20. What happened to this calculator? I followed the link and got a generic page saying that the domain is for sale? Steve
  21. I gave them a call to order and it was very easy and smooth. Took about 3 minutes. huge +1 on a stock Techwear polo. Steve
  22. Thanks Chris, I will definitely order from you when I decide to go ahead. Steve
  23. Has anyone compared the ready tactical DOH with the USPSA model? It sounds like the USPSA model is just offset out a bit with no drop. I planned on switching to a DOH-type holster and CR speed belt for next season, but have not nailed down which model holster to go with yet. Thanks, Steve
  24. pre-ban mags in a new STI is prefectly legal in Ma That's what I thought. Maybe I will post a WTB in the classifieds when I am ready. I have to decide which gun I want first and make sure I can get it. Steve Supermoto: are you going to Manville on Sunday?
