Sorry for the old thread bump, but this clock sync app works excellent. I had 2 nooks that the time wouldn't sync correctly and this did the trick. Thanks Eugene

2016 Area 7 Championship
Steve_P replied to Steve_P's topic in Match Announcements - Pistol Only - USPSA, IPSC & Misc.
Hi All, Just a quick Area 7 registration update. We should be good to go for opening up registration on Monday, Feb. 1st at 6:00PM EST. Registration will be thru practiscore and the link to the form can be found here: https://clubs.practiscore.com/2016-area-7-champion…/register If you would like to view the squad listing, that page can be found here: https://clubs.practiscore.com/2016-area-7-champio…/squadding Please be sure to review all the match information at the top of the form before submitting registration, including our Resident, Payment, and Cancellation polices. Thanks! -
Good Evening: Online registration for the 2016 Area 7 championship will open on Monday, February 1st at 6:00 PM EST thru practiscore.com The match will be hosted by the Maine Practical Shooters in Augusta, ME, July 9-10 Match web site: http://mainepracticalshooters.com/uspsa-area-7-2016/ Registration Policy: We will be accepting registration entries from all interested competitors (resident and non-resident) starting on the 1st. Only A7 residents will be approved to pay & squad for the first week. After 6:00 PM on Feb 8th, I will start approving all shooters from the beginning of the signup list. This is slightly different than we handled it last year, but should be very fair to residents & non-residents alike. We will have 10 squads per day with 12 shooters per squad, for a total of 240 slots. Once we get closer to the date, I will post the link to the registration page here and on the other shooting social media sites. Match fee will be $160 If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks, Steve

I manually updated as i heard back from each person. Pain in the butt. I can't wait for more frequent updates. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

It could be that they have renewed, but it hasnt updated in the database yet. I ran stats for a7 the last 2 years. I had many shooters show up in ezwin showing as expired. I contacted all and they confirmed they had already updated. The online database is only updated monthly with the classifiers. Steve Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

So true. We did 3 days and saw most of what we wanted to see. We definitely didnt see everything though. I expected it to be big, but not this big. -
Practiscore Squad not importing to EZwin / Scores not importing
Steve_P replied to Xhris's topic in Match Scoring
Take a look at the squadding export file. The last line probably shows start, start. Change this to end, end and retry. -
Makes sense, thanks all. Steve

How do you handle shooters that go sub minor in ezwin at a level 3 match? Do you delete them from the match, or dq them? I would assume they just get deleted. Thanks all. Steve

Interesting. I never had to follow that procedure, but all of my nooks were older.

Steve_P replied to Steve_P's topic in Match Scoring

importing .psc file into iOs version of Practiscore
Steve_P replied to Steve_P's topic in Match Scoring
So I think I was able to copy the file using iTunes. But how do I actually open the file in practiscore? I think I will just go with option 4 for simplicity at the moment. Silly apple, making things difficult. Reminds me of this video from awhile back: -
Quick question: Is there any way to import a .psc file created by EZWS2PS.exe into the iOS version of practiscore? In the android version, there is the "import match" button on the sync page, but I am not seeing that on iOS. Am I just missing something simple? Thanks in advance, Steve

Practiscore on a Nook: Device Sync Screen Auto-populating List
Steve_P replied to wgnoyes's topic in Match Scoring
The sync codes appear to be generated based on the ip address. I don't know the specific algorithim, but i charted out a few in this sheet: Practiscore Sync Codes by IP.pdf -
Any reason why the older (2012) Nexus wouldn't last as a master?
Steve_P replied to uod's topic in Match Scoring
Funny, you finally bought an android tablet, I finally bought an iPad a few days ago. It is an older 1st gen unit refurbished, but it runs practiscore great and the battery is still strong. It will give me options as to which platform I run as a master, depending on which version has a better feature set that particular week...hehe Steve -

I use the 10rd mags too...same deal. Once I got the OAL thing figured out..no problems. Mine that were slightly long did drop in and out fine, but I had the same issue with the nose hanging on the ramp. A simple tap on the back of the slide generally slid them into battery. -

I have seen the same issues occasionally. Try messing around with your OAL. I have found that my shadows are fairly sensitive to OAL. I am currently running MG 124gr JHPs at about 1.085" -
