1. Craig uses plastic grips, built up with grip tape. Or at least he used to. I was only giving our resident glock guru a hard time...
2. They are thicker than the aluminum, but slimmer than the rubber ones. They are also quite grippy on the hand too, which is nice.
3. Let me know if you want to try a pair of vz grips. I have a spare set.
4. I feel the same. I just registered for saturday, squad 5.
5. Can't wait to read it...I am running PS for A7 in September. Steve
6. If special offers are the same as in kindle lingo, that means advertising. A kindle with special offers is about 10-20 dollars cheaper than one without. The unit displays advertising at certain times.
7. If I remember the discussions correctly, the lower-levels of kindle don't run android.
8. Just a quick question regarding the different iPad models: How does PS run on the earlier generation iPads? I've been looking mostly at preowned and refurbished 1st and 2nd gen units. I would like to get 1-2 to use as dedicated masters, but definitely can't swing the $500ish for brand new units. Thanks, Steve
9. I know it is a hack workaround, but what if you score your match, running 2 classifiers, but setup one of the classifier stages in ezwin as a regular stage? Submit that match as your official match results. Then submit another new match with just the 2nd classifier, marked as a classifier. Not sure if this works or would be allowed, but it may be something to try. Steve
10. Thanks bill. I have dropbox on all my nooks, but will need to pick up a few more for some upcoming major matches. It took me awhile to find an older .apk for dropbox that would install on the nooks. One of the latest versions wouldn't install for me for some reason or another. I am running a state IDPA match using the clubs website. So far, no major problems. We are using the integrated payment functionality thru Stripe and it works great. I have had a few reports of squadding emails that went straight to spam folders, but other than that, so far so good. Side note: how many nooks do you keep as spares for a major? I have an upcoming match, probably 9 stages that we will electronicly score. I think after picking up a few more, I will have 12 nooks for stage scoring. I will also have my note tablet, android phone, and 1 iPod touch to collect scores. Steve
11. Unless you are using the clubs.practiscore.com site for online registration. Then you can pull straight into the device of your choice using a CSV. Although currently, I use the same method as you bill, register/define stages in EZ win. Quick, slightly unrelated question: do you know if the rootnscoreit package installs dropbox on the nooks? Thanks, Steve
12. Have you tried using the rangelog export from the view results page? Works great for a standard match, haven't tried a classifier yet though.
13. I don't think so, most likely just pushed back due to baseball.
I saw commercials for new episodes tonight during the game.
14. To the best of my knowledge, no they are not, as configured stock. I seem to remember someone saying they are legal though if you remove the thumb screw tensioners. Ymmv Steve
15. Ahh, got it. I hadn't looked yet to see if static ip was even possible.

Bill, i think you are right about not making the nooks seem any more difficult than necessary.
16. Would it make sense to assign the nooks static ip addresses at the bottom of the range?
I don'thave any real data, but jc's search times sound similar to what i was observing with nooks and a galaxy note tablet
17. I use Dillon lube and n320 and haven't had any problems.
I lube before i put the cases in the feeder though, with the cases laying on their sides. So i probably don't get too much lube in the case.
18. Bill, the newest android versions can go out and find other devices. Doesn't work great with nooks (takes awhile to find devices), but works great on my Galaxy tablet.
19. Nice! I saw the little flying machine roving around, so I may be down there somewhere in these pics.
20. If there a database included with ezwin that has the info you need?
21. They have models on their Web site (Dawson), specifically for the shadow, ive bought 3 or 4 front sites and all fit just fine
22. unfortunately, this box doesn't come up with a list of classifiers, at least for me it doesn't. The hot setup would be a drop down selection that pre filled the scoring type, string and target definitions for that classifier, just like in ezwin.
