    Gen 4 30

I have both a 21SF and 30S. Both are great pistols. My EDC is the 30S and it performs like you would expect. Accuracy wise for me the 21 I get tighter groups than the 30 does. I have used the 30 for action shooting and done very well with it, have yet to shoot it out to any great distance. The 21 makes me look like pro shooter.
  2. I had Salient work on my G19. The work is great IMO. I didn't spend $2500 on it either. Their trigger system is by far the best I have used or tried, they installed the flat trigger on mine. Their grip reduction is phenomenal! The feel and texture are outstanding. Finally I had them do a match barrel in it and I couldn't be happier. I do compete with it but not in IDPA or the like. You can always get them to do some work on it and then see if you want the full tier package later. It has been over a year in its current configuration and thinking I might finish it with a tier 2 upper and multi cam finish. It is easy to order from them just have to give them a call or talk with them on FB. Nope, no website but who cares when I get the chance to talk directly to a live person. If you live in my area you are welcome to put some rounds down range and see how it runs.
  3. I have a Salient on my 19, great trigger!
  4. I have one of the ambi release with the 1913 rail. They only made this model for a short period of time. Glock will actually change out your frame if you want them too because of the issues they had with the release and mags falling out. This model was made for .mil trials back in 2007-08 timeframe.

    FNH SC 1

All I find around here are the blue ones, I would prefer a grey one, found a few on GB.

    FNH SC 1

Thanks for the replies and info. I have found them for under $2k shipped so I'm happy with that price. I had an O/U before but it was a cheap one that wasn't fitted for me etc. I like that its ones with the comb already and not needing to add anything out the box. I am used to semis so I am sure there will be some learning and adjusting with it. Recoil should be interesting as well.
  7. I put a Salient in my 19 and absolutely love it. Crisp and resets great. Anyway just my 2 cents, plus I don't should production or any other strict matches.

    FNH SC 1

I am very interested in this O/U. Never shot one only got to fondle one at my LGS. Anyone have experience with it or used one?
  9. Thanks for the replies. So basically all mags gen 3 mags will fit? This is a new purchase for me, just got it on a whim and wasn't planning on getting it. I used to have 1913 rail on a previous 21 and loved it. I too had no issues with it but all the reading lately states the mag can drop while firing or other adverse affects. My first one had no issues at all so I hope this one doesn't either.
  10. What gen mags will fit the SF with ambi mag release? Thanks
  11. Tier 1- slide lightning, ball nose front and back, 90degree the top, striker and lower spring, trigger group, spring kit and bar, warren sights, Tin pin set Tier 2- less lightening, tier 2 trigger, grip modes, Tier 3- polished and tuned, 5.5 lbs tigger, grip modes Just some of the differences they offer between the packages. They have spent a lot of time and resources to fine tune a great product. They don't just make cuts in the slide to look cool but to have a functional purpose to them. The parts aren't just randomly put on but tested and evaluated to get a good end result. There is nothing wrong with a stock Glock, they just made more improvements to it. Feel free to call them and they will go in-depth with you about the various tiers and why they did what they did. These tiers aren't for everyone but some will like it. IMO they have spent a lot of time on R&D with their products from the Glocks, M2's to the LVOA rifles.

    Flat Triggers

I would say no but here is their description of it. Salient Arms International Glock (SAI Trigger shoe/safety and trigger bar shown here) For $265, the SAI Glock Flat-Faced Tier1 trigger kit will include: tuned and polished trigger bar, SAI trigger shoe/SAI trigger safety, tuned ejector housing and SAI trigger return spring, SAI safety plunger/SAI safety plunger spring, SAI tuned Glock 4.5 connector (only minus connector we found works every time!), SAI proprietary "minus-striker," and SAI proprietary 5.5 lb. striker spring to ensure the hardest primers go bang. The SAI Glock Flat-Faced Tier 1 trigger kit is a complete fire control system. Note: this kit is fitted/tuned by SAI technicians (free of charge). Call us if you have questions or would like to place an order. (805) 983-1200

    Flat Triggers

If I understand, they wont sell just the trigger set up, you have to have them install it. So I was informes. You can buy it without them installing it. They just offer the services for free plus shipping it back to you. It is about the only thing you can by from them for your Glock without it being in a Tier package.
