1. Good for you. Of course the Open nationals are 525 rounds, so you might not have enough ammo. I'm flying, and can't carry 500+ rounds on the plane, so it sure would be nice to know where to ship some ammo. Yea, that's what i was worried about most too. I would think they will be receiving shipments right at ussa, but you never know. Now that i think about it, has anyone called ussa directly and asked them about ammo shipments? Steve
2. Kind of frustrating. I sent an email to dianna the other day with no response. Steve
3. So I ran into this situation at my last match: I was synching all my stage nooks from my master unit at the start of the match. 2-3 of the nooks had their clocks off by about 20 minutes from the master. This caused an error when syncing and wouldn't let me sync the devices with the incorrect time. Does anyone know if it is possible to manually change the time on the nooks? If there is, I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. BN says they should go out automatically when connected to the internet and correct the time. Does anyone know if they actually do this after they have been rooted? Thanks, Steve
4. As it been said already, we generally try to keep new versions backward compatible. Though in this case there were some fixes related to sync between devices between 1.1.11 and 1.2.x version. So, unless you really know what you are doing (and in this case I'd strongly advise against it), it is better to stick with the same version. For instance, save it on SD card, so you can update your devices evening before match or right at the match before syncing registration to all devices...Also note that we won't be able to provide you support for non latest versions of the app. So, the issues either already fixed in later versions or newly found stuff will be fixed in the next releases. So, if you're running 1.1.11 or older, not much we can really do if you hit some roadblock. Though chances of that for 1.1.11 are quite small. If that was issue with column heading, it should be easy to correct on your side. Though for the last part, please email your registration file to support@practiscore.com and we'll take a look. The RangeLog export only exports competitors with divisions recognized by RangeLog. Since 1.2.x android version those divisions are added by default when you created IDPA match in Practiscore: CDP, ESP, SSP, SSR, and ESR (exactly like that). Also note that classifications should be DM, MA, EX, SS, MM, NV, UN. Do you have a link to those posted results? What version did you use to post them? Where is the rangelog export option? I am currently running 1.2.4.I am in the planning phases for my clubs State IDPA match for 2014 and we are considering using practiscore. If we are able to do a direct upload to IDPA with results, that may seal the deal for using it. Thanks, Steve
5. Got a confirmation email today. It's a start at least.
6. At my local matches, i have been pulling data from nooks into ez win using the app exporter. However, i generally do it one device (one stage) at a time. We usually have about 70 shooters per. I haven't yet gotten a proper Android tablet to act as a master, but i wad considering the nexus 10 our the asus memo 10. When i get it, i will compile to the master, then pull to ezwin just once.
7. I heard that he had a squib. Maybe ben will chime in here and give us the scoop himself.
8. Pete, i checked the beta version of 1.2 and the search is there.
9. I made the swap...i went from a Bedell Shorty 2011 to an sp01 shadow target. The shadow definitely made production fun to shoot for me. Steve
10. I see you found this forum too.... It's a great resource. Hopefully i well make it to Hopkinton Sunday for the match. I will throw the spare cz in again in case you want to shoot it instead of the glock. Steve
11. So how did practice go? Did you get to focus a bit on some individual drills? If so, which ones?
12. I like the hornady collet style puller. I have had 2 batches of about 200rds each that I needed to disassemble for various reasons. I did the first batch with an RCBS hammer, and man was that a chore. I did the 2nd batch with the collet style puller and it went so much easier and faster. Good luck, Steve
13. Same here, my supercomp bedell will run the AP RL stuff, generally with no problem. Pistol does have an Aftec extractor. Not sure if that would help or hurt the situation. Steve
14. I was told at a local match that you must have been registered with uspsa when you shoot the match. Happened to my wife, shoot a classifier match, but hadn't registered yet. Registered the Monday after, but was told they wouldn't count.
15. I've had an S2 for awhile and it has been great.
I convinced a friend of mine to go Samsung for his next phone, so he picked up an S4 the other day.
The screen (not the glass, the actual amoled screen below the glass) broke on him 2 days after getting it. Needless to say he was very upset.
Of course it wasn't covered under warranty.

He didn't drop it or neglect it really, he said it just broke in his pocket.

Needless to say, I don't think his next phone will be a samsung.
16. How spread out are the bays at the match location? I am trying to decide whether or not to pack the range cart. Thanks, Steve
17. I guess i was trying to figure out why my observed readings are a bit slower than other folks here have seen with basically identical loading conditions. As you said, crimp could be one variable that i am not taking into account. No biggie, I'll probably just chalk it up to chrono variations. I made up a few more test batches, some at 4.3 and some at 4.4 i will re chrono them tomorrow after the match. Steve
18. I definitely expected the drop with increased oal. I guess what i am slightly confused at is most reports i read here with this load at about the same oal have people making 130-132ish pf. I am barely making minor. Does anyone here load in the 4.4gr range with a 124?
19. Last time I went to nationals, I put my pistol case inside my suitcase, as others here have said. I also checked my range bag (large shooters connection bag) with all my other shooting related stuff (mags, ammo, etc). Everything arrived in one piece, but I did get a notice that my range bag was opened and inspected by TSA. Steve
20. So I wanted to try out some CMJ bullets in my shadow. I had been running 124gr MG JHPs, loaded short to fit my shadow chamber. My load with those was 4.2gr N320, Fed SP Match, 1.085" OAL. I was getting about 132 PF thereabouts. I would get very random feed failures, the bullet nose would impact the ramp and just stop. I could always bump the back of the slide and it would continue forward into battery. So, I loaded up a batch of the 124gr CMJ, same charge and primer, OAL of 1.125". Fed just fine, but my velocities only averaged 1015 fps. SD was very low at 5 This data seems a bit lower than what I was expecting, based on what I have read others use here. I will probably bump up a tenth or two and see what that gets me. Does anyone else here have anything to add? Thanks in advance, Steve
21. Bedell Shorty in supercomp.
22. Email sent re: Android beta testing.Steve
23. 5 on the belt, plus 11 in the gun in production for me too generally. Steve
