  1. They are so easy to spot aren’t they?!? But this one seems to maybe be spamming with all the incoherent babbling
  2. Yeah, FTSA is what it's actually called in the rules, even though some still cling to FTE.
  3. so far, the Frankford Arsenal cleaning solution has worked best for me. $15 a bottle and three capfuls is plenty to get the brass sparkling clean. No need for lemishine etc either.
  4. But that’s not the same kind of reshoot. I guess since you look at it like that you are right. I was talking reshoots as outlined in the rules for such things as REF etc. Also, keep in mind an MD can not allow classifier reshoots so it’s not a sure thing. Sometimes situations or conditions don’t lend themselves to taking the time to reshoot classifiers
  5. RO Interference. Everything else is mandatory reshoot. But broken guns don’t qualify.
  6. Amazon is 159.99 all the time too. I think I got mine a few years back for around a hundred bucks on a flash sale there
  7. Just curious, did you try searching the forums for your answer? There are countless threads on tumbling in the general reloading section. Since wet tumbling has grown in popularity, dry tumbling threads have subsided but there are still plenty out there.
  8. Wow! Yes, you are doing it wrong. And on several counts. LOL Being able to shoot well in a match certainly does depend on your equipment running. A gun that runs is just as critical as practice. You can't win without either for long. Then there are the rules to consider. There is only one instance where reshoots are "offered" and it's not for a gun problem. And you do realize USPSA should be getting a cut of every classifer shot at a match. That's why MD's charge people to reshoot the occasional classifier.
  9. a paper GM is easy to spot. Look in match results about 20 spots from the top after all the GM,M,A,B shooters. See that GM who shot 65%? That's him most likely. Barring major gun issues of course. Same with sandbaggers. See that A shooter who always smokes the M's and occasional GM? Yep, that's him.
  10. It’s in the classifier handbook and as Gooldy pointed out in the rules as well. Their has also been some confusion in the past as well because rules just say 3 GM’s that shoot 90% when classifier says enough top shooters completed the match and performed at a level high enough to be considered a national standard.
  11. You get +/- one whole grain of powder on an LNL?!? That’s friggin’ dangerous
  12. I agree. If perfs are lined up perfectly and you get a noshoot with a perf touch you also touched the A perf.
  13. You don’t have to break a rule to be a cheater because 10.6 covers it. Sure , practice classifiers all you want. But if I’m an uploader for acme gun club and set up a classifier for you to shoot until you hit a GM score and then submit it with match scores, that’s cheating, unethical, whatever you want to call it.
  14. Because most of us aren’t cheaters?
  15. I think you wanted to post this in the IDPA forum. None of this makes sense in USPSA.
  16. I’m not a huge PCC guy but I bought a ready made PCC with a taccom buffer and it’s pretty hard to lock back manually and does not lock back when firing. I’d guess your gun is right on the edge of locking back in the first place and the dirt is just enough to short stroke it.
  17. Talk to your match director of the matches. He has to submit them. Sounds like maybe he isn’t?
  18. 1.17 is kind of long. Some guys run that long but most stay under. Do a drop check to test. What type gun? What type primer?
  19. For sure. There was a local guy years ago that shot classifiers over and over until he aced them and then got somebody to upload scores for him. Couldn't win anything buy locals.
  20. yikes! Way too much for what I need. I fill the fart up about 2/3 with brass and the FA sorter holds about half of it, but the dryer holds the full load.
  21. Sarge

    dropping

Actually depends on the gun right? Has to be in a ready condition per 8.1.1. So if it’s a 1911/2011 etc the safety had to be on or it’s a DQ
  22. In that case 140’s can be made pretty long since max length is 170
