It is time for me to ask the experts, I am looking to purchase a CZ 75 or 85 in 9mm to use for Production and Limited Minor I am set on the CZ platform since I love the feel of the grip in my hand and love to have Ambi safety. I am not sure witch one is the best for the money And really don’t see the difference other than the extra weight with the extended dust cover, Fiber Optic Sights, with or without firing pin block and a trigger job. Is there something else I am missing? CZ 75 B $519 @ Sniper Country PX CZ 75 SP-01 $609 @ Sniper Country PX CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow $800 CZ 85 B $621 @ Sniper Country PX

GPS story
Txkid replied to Graham Smith's topic in Computers, Cameras, and Electronic Devices of Any Kind
I purchased Garmin 2 years ago and love it very much. The only complaint is it is a little slow to finding its bearings at start up and like everyone else some of the directions it gives out are incorrect. But with common sense it is very manageable. But I do love the free traffic report. When we got our new VW Jetta it came with a GPS and found it is not as good as the Garmin. Anyway, I have a iPhone and find it the “Maps” app the best. Thomas -
Very nice video, it motivates me to do more die fire. Thomas

Primer tube detonation - ceiling damage?
Txkid replied to Canuck223's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
Daaaannnng!!! Knock on wood I haven’t had a primer go off on me. I guess I really need to start using my safety glasses and ear protection. Is there any other cause other than forcing the primer to seat to make it go during reloading that I need to be aware of? Thomas -
This reminds me what my brother told me long time ago when we were kids, He and his buddy went in the woods to light up some Human Gas for the first time, his buddy pulled down his pants to relief the Gas. My brother lit a match then waiting for the big flame but something else came out to his surprise. i think this was first and last time he did this with Buddy. T

My 2 cents, I have big hangs (Long Fingers) and can reload 170’s faster than 140’s and with the magwell it is harder for me to push in the mag with a 140. If I can return my 140’s to SVI I like to get all 170’s. I love the mag sticking out of the magwell it makes it easy to push them in and to pull them out if they don’t drop for some reason. I will go for 4 x 170’s and 1 x 140 as a Barney mag good luck Thomas

Was that just to get the carbon out or will it help with lead as well. I mainly coated lead for practice sessions and will be using jackets for comps next year. Wow I need to use the method, I shoot 9 major with Lead bullets. Thanks for the information. Thomas

My wife and I purchased a 1995 Passat Wagon on 2005 with 103K on it after driving it for 4 years we ended at 233K with out any Engine or transmission problems just the usual parts that go bad on any car. In the pass I had a Made in Japan Toyota Corolla and the tranny gave out on me at 80k whats up with that? My wifes love for VW style and reliability we had to go with another VW. Just got a new Jetta TDI wagon we just love it. Well I have to say get what your daughter likes the most. Men have to keep our ladies happy. Thomas -
Yup, and +1 for Harbor Freight, look for the sales and the 20% off coupon. Thomas

I had the same problem with the bulge at the bottom of the case. The bulges were so big when loaded to the mag the top round was pointing down. I tried several dies without any success. I end up shaving the mouth of the Dillon Size die to remove the taper of the die so the case seats deep down to resize the bulge. This fixed the problem but makes is a little bit hard to reload since the case dosnt feed easily into the die, its not hard to getting used to guiding the case into the die. Hope this helps Thomas

I have a Dillon 550 for 18 years and it has been great. I load from 380 auto to 338 Lapua with it I wish I had a 650 or a 1050 but I love my Dillon and the customer service. I never used a Lee loader but I have used Lee Dies and didn’t like the O-Ring and Aluminum parts

Yup, my wife loves my iPhone too, bad thing she gets her cell phone from the place she works for so I had to get her a iPodtouch it worked out for us. :-) If Verizon starts selling the iPhone that might change.

This was my first chrono at a match (My 11th total match) and I was a little nerves. With my Chrony I was getting 173pf at 85F with my 125gn Lead 7.7gn Silhouette of 9 x 19 (Yes, I am the Japanese Open Lead Guy ), I wasn’t sure if my chrono was acute or not so I loaded on the High side. The A4 chrono gave me a 172pf so I think I can lower my load. Anyway, it was a great match and i had a great time. Big thanks for all of the Staff Thomas

My 2 cents, you can try this at home, Make sure you have an empty chamber and remove the mag, turn on the red dot and place the magwell flat on to a table/counter top anything that is flat and sturdy. Point your red dot to an object. With out moving the gun look at the red dot move away from the object when you move your eye left to right top to bottom of the lens. I was surprised how the dot moves around especially with the elevation. You are possibly not aiming from the same position of the lens when you shot free hand? Thomas

Today at lunch time I just picked up 4 Mags (2 170&2 140 to start with) from SVI (10mins from my office!!! ) They do look good but looks like it can use some polishing. I know I will get more Mags in the Future so I think 4 will be good for now. Thanks for the great suggestions. Thomas
