  1. Unfortunately the RO was blocking you most of the time during shotgun run when I was taking pics
  2. Rainier Arms 18'' UltraMatch SS BBL Rainier Arms A4 Billet Upper FailZero BCG BCM Mod4 Gunfighter CH VTAC Extreme BattleRail 13'' Meopta K-dot Bobro mount SJC Titan (Surefire MB556k is pictured) Mega Billet Lower #3 Timney MOE Grip UBR BAD
  3. PDAnet - tether to your laptop/pc to use your phone as a modem if you're on the road SlideIT - works just like swype, the text input program that set the world record in the commercial. It's free and it's available, unlike swype ConvertPad - converts a ton of stuff such as volume, temperature, distance, etc LED Light - uses the camera LED's as a flashlight, pretty nifty to have Compass - heading, longitude/latitude, altitude, pitch, roll GPS speedo - if your cars speedo craps out I suppose. It was spot on with my trucks speedo Shooter - ballistics calculator if you do any long range shooting
  4. Glock that wouldn't RTB Failure to feed in the first pic. Than a double feed when the CH was racked and locked it up.
  5. Couple of guns in action from today's match. Unfortunately, the RO and scorer were blocking the best angle for me most of the time. Just working with what I could.
  6. I got the Pro because that's what they had in stock. The sights work fine for me, more aesthetically pleasing (front of slide isn't bobbed on the bottom), and of course, it says pro on the side (gotta be worth something right?). The trigger wasn't that great, but a little work with a dremel, polishing compound, and files took care of that. It took out 95% of the gritty feel, breaks clean and light and reset is positive. I don't feel that spending $90 for the whole apex kit will make enough of a difference for me.
  7. I did my own trigger job at home, before I found the link to Dan Burwell's step by step instruction. Turns out everything I had polished and reshaped was exactly what he does. Only thing I didn't do was recut the over travel and cut the sear for reduced weight as mine feels fine for me out of the box. http://www.burwellgunsmithing.com/misc/M&Ptriggerjob.pdf
  8. My Pro's sight came out pretty easily. I used a delrin rod with the slide on a carpeted floor and it only took a few taps with a hammer to come out. I could get it over 3/4 of the way in with my fingers alone. My firing block roll pin was much much harder to drift out than the sight.

    Formula 1

Bleh, hopefully a rerun will show up on speed that fit's my schedule. I totally overslept and missed the race
  10. I've shot rifles before with M4 cut extension and no M$ cut in the receiver that never had an issue with feeding. But it doesn't hurt it to have both M$ cuts in the receiver and extension. I'm not really sure what happens in SD, lol. Sorry I can't help you there.
  11. The Lilja is made from a Lilja blank to nordics specs. The wilson is made from a wilson blank to nordics specs. Never used either lilja or wilson barrel before, but from what I gather they are both top notch. It's up to you to decide if you want to spend the $100 for the Lilja. The M4 cut extension is this:

    NHL Playoffs

It was even better watching the game with a Bruins fan. Kept telling him it's a 60 min game, not 20!

    NHL Playoffs

Bruins... WOW Had a 3-0 lead in the first period and gave up 4 straight goals to lose 4-3. Had a 3-0 series lead and lost 4 straight to lose the series 4-3. The irony....
  14. Walking the mouse button. Not the greatest microswitch by any stretch. Used to do 17 bps with a stock 03 shocker. It'll record up to 20 bps using full auto.
  15. It's possible, speed of sound is roughly 1125 FPS. A 230g .45 ACP travels at about 850 FPS. You'd be able to hear the shot before the bullet impact if you were at the same distance from the shooter as the steel.
  16. My whole grip is stippled except for where my thumb goes to hit the mag release. I've got smallish hands so the reduced area makes it easier.
  17. Yea, those halibut cheeks are great!
  18. The basepad on the ETm should've stopped it from over inserting, maybe his still has a gap?
  19. Tripp Cobra Mags...!! I used to use the 47D's, they worked fine when brand new. But as the springs got used, I would start getting malfunctions. I could've called Wilson to get new springs, but that would've been a hassle to keep changing the springs as they wore out, which is why I switched to the the Tripps and never had a problem.
  20. That looks pretty neat. It'll make using irons seems like your using a red dot sight. I wonder if it would be considered an optic when used on pistols. If that was the case, might as well as stick to the red dots.
