  1. Whenever someone mentions "normal", I think of my favorite Waffle House waitress... In 1998 several of us from SC and GA hop in the truck and drive all night to make it to Dallas for one of our first nationwide, internet arranged group dirtbike rides. We got to Dallas in time for breakfast and stopped at a Waffle House. One of my friends, MXTuner (chronic smarta$$), asked: "How are the waffles?" "What do you mean?" "I mean, how are they? Do they, like, look...normal?" At this point she drops the pad and pen with her hands to her hips, looks at him for a second, and says, "Do you think *you* look normal?" She got a $20 tip!
  2. I tried a search for: how many moon clips It found: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=39036 http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=38294
  3. Looks great, but my guess is that this type of advertising is considered spamming. I'd suggest contacting a moderator about advertising.
  4. Happy 50th, Pat! Happy 50th++++++ PB!
  5. What is all that white stuff and why would someone choose to live there? BTW, my sister is on her way and she *will* find you...
  6. This worked GREAT with the new M&P airsoft I just got. The only trouble was not enough delay from when I hit the Buzz button to when it beeped.
  7. Me, too. I'm more dangerous to myself with a knife than I would be to someone else. Welcome, Romey!
  8. Got the airsoft M&P and tried it last night. Overall, I'm very impressed! It is a non-blowback, CO2 model that holds 15 rounds. I got an extra mag for it. Accuracy: Not real scientific, but I put an empty shotgun shell box (25 rounds of 20 ga) on a shelf and paced off 10 yards. The first shot spun it 90 degrees, the second knocked it to the floor, and I then chased it across the floor with the other 13 shots. ALL 15 shots hit the box! Based on the cheaper airsoft guns that the kids have had, a 2-4" grouping at 30 feet impressed me. Quality: Time will tell, but it appears to be well made. Weight: My real M&P40 weighed 801g empty, the airsoft weighed 649. The airsoft doesn't change much with the weight of 15 plastic BBs, but 15/16 rounds of .40 does add significant weight to the real gun. The balance of the weight of the airsoft felt pretty good. Dimensions: I tried the airsoft in one of my leather holsters and it fit perfectly. I tried it in one of the kydex single retention holsters and it was a little harder to draw than a real M&P. The majority of the resistance to draw is where the holster grips the trigger guard. I measured the airsoft and it was .593" wide, the real M&P was .569. That's only 24 thousandth's, but I could feel more resistance when drawing. I didn't measure the backstrap (not changeable on the airsoft), but the grip felt closer to having a small backstrap installed than a medium. Trigger: You'd never accept that trigger on a real gun, especially the way it stacks as it builds spring tension prior to release, but I'm not so sure that is all bad. I figure if Tommy and I can maintain proper sight alignment while pulling that trigger, manipulating a decent, real trigger should never interfere with the sights. CO2: It takes the disposable CO2 cartridges. I guess I've got some searching to do to find out what, if any, options I have for those. Power: The claimed 388 fps is enough to penetrate USPSA targets if fired straight on. Fired at an angle tends to dent and bounce off. Fired at steel freuently breaks the BBs. Definitely have to wear safety glasses whenever firing. Sounds: I adjusted the sensitivity all the way up on my timer but it would only pick up the shots if help right next to the gun. The timer app Arial posted here: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86330 works great with it! I was able to leave the phone on the bench and it picked up shots from as far as 15 feet away (didn't really try any farther). Again, overall I am almost as tickled with the M&P airsoft as I am with the real M&Ps that we shoot.
  9. LOL! I sure hope my kids remember me like that.
  10. Wish this applied to shotgun as well You were robbed! You absolutely smoked the shotgun portion of the 2-gun match Saturday. I'll see if I can post video of it.
  11. Yes, that's the most attractive picture I have of myself.

  12. Ok, I'll bite... First guess, it's your girlfriends. If so, 2 ismore than enough and you should trim your list. Second guess, it's your daughters. If so, and you couldn't fit them all with the 11 word limit, you need to figure out where they are coming from and STOP! Do I get a cookie?
  13. It had its high points, but don't take your 12 year old to see it (yeah, I screwed up).
  14. Very cool! Is she hooked? One of our guys brought his niece out for a 2-gun match yesterday. She did really well on the shotgun. I hope to see her back.
  15. 500 rounds is too early to have gunk built up on the post that seats the primer, but keep an eye out for trash that may fall into the primer cup and cause that type of deformation. After loading, I try to sort out those that may have some sort of crease or dent in the primer, but none of them have even failed to fire.
  16. I watch less than 3 football games a year but I really enjoyed this one. Didn't know the details of why the 2 point conversion was technically good, but I called it as a score when I saw it! (I've never liked the Colts since they snuck out of Baltimore 25 or so years ago)
  17. Not sure about the airsoft, but my 12 year old and I shoot M&Ps. He uses the small backstrap and I use the medium or large. Why not involve him in USPSA? With proper training, you might be surprised to find that he is safer than most of the adults you shoot with (mine is). I did just order an airsoft M&P and will report back once we try it.
  18. *NOW* I'm thoroughly confused! 2 Questions: 1. Is there any reason to ever crimp (more than just removing whatever bell you may have made)? 2. What about .357 Sig where there is very little case contacting the bullet?
  19. Yes...you have too many interests. You must discard some hobbies. You probably have SOS (Shiny Object Syndrome). Pick one or two things and stick with them! (j/k...since the interests show up every time someone posts, there have been recent changes to restrict those so it doesn't puff up the screen size.)
  20. At one such range I was told that they didn't want people reloading their own armor-piercing rounds that might damage their backstop.
  21. Cool! I didn't realize her and Hart had gotten back together. They are a great pair.
